Why it should bother you that the oscars are so white

I asked a film-buff friend about this. She said it is just a very competitive year. And also noted that 12 Years a Slave won Best Picture and Best Supporting Actress last year, along with nominations for Best Actor and Best Director.

Pissed because the MLK movie didn't get shit...I don't watch that crap nor do I care about it..

Well say goodbye to the days where awards were won on merit, say hello to the days of liberal ideology and a person of color has to win an award.....just because.

And gone have been the days where it wasn't who you acted as, it was about performance. Now because you play a black character from the past it is expected they automatically get an Oscar Nomination.

Seriously, just let all blacks win for the next 30 years, that way they have one less thing to complain about. Dealing with a bunch of Kanye's when it comes to this.
