"Ron Watkins, the former 8chan administrator widely rumored to have seeded the QAnon conspiracy theory, has said that he intends to run for a congressional seat in Arizona. "I am here to formally announce my run for Congress in Arizona," he said. "Under God's authority, we will take back Congress, flip the Senate and fix the presidency." The 8chan messaging board became a notorious hub for conspiracy theorists (child porn) and far-right extremists during Watkins' time as administrator.

Some critics, including QAnon expert Mike Rothschild, dismissed the move as a publicity stunt or fundraising bid. Arizona's first Congressional district is currently represented by Democrat Tom O'Halleran, who has been in office since 2016, and has since defeated two Republican challengers. In order to run for office, a candidate must reside in the state and earlier this year it was reported by NBC that Watkins lives in Japan."

I have been constantly told by so-called Conservatives on this message board that QAnon has nothing to do with the Republican party, let alone controlling the levers of power within the Republican party....which is why I wonder why this guy is even running for office as a Republican...you would think he would have a much better chance of winning his primary if he ran as a Democrat...I mean, even if he is doing this as a publicity stunt and a fundraising tool; why does he think GOP voters are that dumb to where he can just fleece money from them???

Widely rumored? Sounds more like a conspiracy
One can make the claim that there is more proof that Watkins is behind the QAnon grift than there is proof that Italian satellites changed votes in the 2020 election from Trump to Biden....another QAnon conspiracy....

"8kun.top has the same IP address as QMap.pub, the most popular aggregator of QAnon’s drops, along with the home of the “QAnon Prayer Wall.” Jim Watkins owns QMAP_PUB."

Yes, QAnon is a conspiracy theory that happens to have a stranglehold on the politics of the Republican party...

Why are so many elected Republicans claiming to be part of a conspiracy theory? In fact, the majority of the Republican party believes in a conspiracy theory.....are they just that gullible?

Well there's this big pedophile ring run out of the Capitol in Washington DC. Hillary Clinton is the head pedophile.

Who wouldn't want to stop a bunch of pedophiles?

The Republicans have stepped up.

Cucks like you are the type to cover themselves in shit....

Then when people say "look at this moron covered in shit"

You think you are "owning the libs" because we are wondering why you are covered in shit

Unaware that at the end of the day....what you stand for is still shitty...

No republican did that, you needed a boogie man and associate it to the right.

More projection from the left. The Democrat Party believes in every BlueAnon conspiracy theory about the GOP and especially MAGA/Trump.

-Trump stole 2016
-Russia collusion hoax
-Trump pee tapes hoax
-Russian bounty hoax
-Tulsi Gabbard is a Russia Agent
-COVID wasn’t made in a lab
-Experimental mRNA vaccines are “Safe & Effective”.
-The Taliban won’t take over Afghanistan
-Joe Biden would never mandate the Vax
-“Don’t Say Gay Bill”
-There are no US funded biolabs in Ukraine
-There is no inflation
-Inflation is “transitory”.
-Inflation really isn’t that bad.
-Inflation is a word no one used until the GOP taught people the word.
-There is no recession
-Gender is a social construct.
-There are more than two genders.
