The US actively resists against investigations and rulings of the International Criminal Court.
I want to know why this is so.

It's because that corrupt kangaroo court is a fucking joke and we need to protect our liberty and American sovereignty.

Because the USA likes their current status of not being accountable to anyone.

They like saying "do as I say, not as I do."

Is this a serious question? It shouldn't be.

Because there is no such thing as International Criminal Law.

Laws in civilized society are created by the elected legislature of individual jurisdictions.

No one elected an international legislature to create an international criminal code.

There is no point to a criminal court without a criminal jurisdiction.

International law only applies to countries that agree to it. We did not. We are protecting America and our citizens from our enemies.
