Why is it that obama has still not come out for biden

I think many of us are wondering why obama has not endorsed joe biden....what could be the reason for that?

Obama is Sleepy Joe's mentor, he knows the man very well having groomed him for a full 8 years. Not only that, the People know that Obama is well acquainted with Vice President Biden's abilities.

If Obama were to endorse him voluntarily, that would reflect badly on his own judgment. My guess is that he can't avoid being pushed into an endorsement, but the delay is the equivalent of a "wink" and it won't reflect that poorly on the judgment of B.Hussein O.

Two reasons:
1. Obama was letting the people decide up to a point, but the point came and went without needing his (help). Joe got it on his own.
2. Having Joe Biden running with President Barrack Obama's active support would have made it easier to run against Obama. It is kind of like this message board. President Obama lives free of charge in the heads of right wing nutballs, even though out of office and relatively quiet. Trump needs to run against someone that he can gin of the hate factor to win. The hill was an easy target, but could not get her to run and has been relatively quiet. He failed to get anything on Joe Biden by getting himself impeached to get out a non-story. Harder to run a campaign against Joe Biden as a Barrack Obama surrogate if President Obama will not play by trumps rules and campaign so trump could channel that "living inside your head" thing that Obama triggers in the far right. Trump has spent 3 1/2 years trying to tear down everything that Obama did, touched or even spoke about, whether good bad or indifferent, to thrill the 35%. The 35% loved him for it. Now he cannot make full use of that sentiment if he cannot get President Obama effectively in play. Sounds like Joe might be the type to hold an ace as a hole card to play only when most effective. I read the article. It sounded like trump really wished he had a villain to run against and was trying to entice Joe or the past President to fill the bill.

Obama is smart and strategic. Wait for the best time to endorse. Don't rush but wait for the time when the endorsement will give the greatest amount of bang for the buck.

Obama at one point even tried to dissuade biden from running aka........."Joe you do not need to do this" but joe did it anyhow.....probably peeved obama somewhat.

Anyhow it has been very obvious that obama wanted someone else to win....now he is stuck with biden...or is he?

I think obama is ;playing a waiting game....to see if biden self destructs before the convention......if biden keeps his mouth shut and just makes an occasional photo op.......then it will be difficult to deny him the nomination....but never expect the DNC
to play fairly.....if for whatever reason they decide someone else has a better chance of defeating Trump then they will very likely find some reason to dump biden.
