Got much of this stuff on the Glenn Beck show. I think it's right on the money.
When this whole thing started, we all knew that it wouldn't be long before the press and the left were demonizing Israel claiming there was a 'humanitarian crisis,' despite the fact that civilian casualties are caused by Hezbollah's choice of location, and that Israel would likely reign in its army under international pressure. We also know that Iran is supplying Hezbollah with weapons and was likely behind their recent movements against Israel. So why would Iran do this? Hatred of Israel? Well, that probably had something to do with it. Take attention off their nuke program? Also probably had something to do with it. However, there appears to be much of a darker purpose. Just as Glenn Beck predicted, an official Iranian spokeman has come out and said that the only way Iran can protect itself from viscious Israeli aggression is with a nuclear deterrant. That's also why they said they needed until next month to decide on the incentive package, a delay until this announcement.
The U.N. will probably buy into it, too. Iran will get their nukes and we'll have a full-blown apocalypse on our hands. They'll probably trade a bit with NK, too. It doesn't get much worse than this.
