CDZ Why I support Universal healthcare, and why I don't.

...Sadly in our country too many resources go into the elderly and not enough resources go into the young.
Good Lord is it possible you could be any more wrong?? Or anyone be anymore wrong??
I will let you ruminate on that one a bit more and give you a second chance to think that one through.
Holy cow.

In terms of healthcare I’m not wrong at all. We spend way too much money on extending the lives of the elderly a few short years.
Can't be true if your country's life expectancy is quite a distance below that of the world's leading democracies!
That should make you aware of how wrong your mentality of greed really is!
And your country's infant mortality rate is not even on par with those countries.

'THOSE' countries you people refer to as socialist or communist!

Out infant mortality rate has more to do with failure of minorities to get pre-natal care, drug abuse and alcoholism. That's is something which other countries do not have to deal.
And how do you explain away the other facts in this post like un-managed asthma and un-managed diabetes? Or are you just another southern racist blaming it on “minorities” No rational un-biased person doing modern benchmarking can conclude anything other than our healthcare being a disaster. View attachment 437033
The state of health for minorities all over is just abysmal. Fucking abysmal. It drags us way down,

When I compare anything to anything I need to see the Caucasian statistics first then the rest later. Always a huge drop when comparing the 2. The country's you selectively select are way smaller and white mostly.

My God what a horrific analysis.
Are you suggesting that those leading democracies don't care for their non-white minorities, concerning their health care?
If you are then you would be wrong, but understandable in that you would be trying to invent an excuse for America.

From a Canadian's POV, you're definitely wrong on Canada. As a general rule we provide better for our minorities in many different ways. But not health care because we don't recognize any racial differences in the care that's afforded to our citizens.
I'll give you an example outside medical. In 11 Baltimore high schools, NOT ONE is proficient in anything. not even 1 kid by accident. I refuse to acknowledge any education stats of America with that crap. All the students failed

What has set the black race behind in America today, has absolutely ZERO to do with slavery and past racism that existed many, many years ago.
HOWEVER - the black race is plagued by liberal social programs from the 1960s - 1980s.
Blacks were rounded up, housed in meager mass housing units - all carefully placed away from white neighborhoods and jobs... built them their own schools to go to - and then gave them just enough money to survive on. Like this was going to work. What it did was EXACTLY what Republican law makers said at the time... generational poverty. Give people a place to stay, enough money to live on - no strings attached... and no matter what their race is - you are going to build a very large permanent dependent culture.
PERIOD.
Catastrophic liberal social programs are what has set the black race so far behind today, and KEEPS THEM BEHIND.
THIS IS THE ONLY SYSTEMIC RACISM THAT EXIST IN AMERICA.
And this doesn't include the moronic "everyone should go to college" programs where they dumb down the requirements in order to keep acceptable numbers of black students regardless of the fact they are failing overwhelmingly. NOOOO = don't do a damn thing to try and IMPROVE their situations... just keep excusing/lowering bars/free shit to keep them down and dependent on the rest of society.

You'r living proof that Americans understand the facts! Placing the blame isn't an issue we even need to argue over. Let it be the liberals and the liberal agenda.

There's never been a great deal of difficulty arriving at the fact that America has created for itself a huge problem between races. The question is always answered by placing blame. And that's always where it ends.

Disclaimer: Not to suggest that I agree with any racism contained in your message, but just to say that you've mostly analyzed the current situation. And definitely not to suggest that I can have any agreement whatsoever in you suggestions for a solution.

My opinion would be closer to more affirmative action of a sort that could change the current situation.

I think that black America is dealing with the situation themselves already and will likely be successful in the long run. It will be a very painful 20 or 30 or 40 years.

I'm not qualified to judge the standards of America's education system, as it compares to Canada's.
I could find some criticisms of ours.

Racism??
Please entertain me and point out where in the world is racism in my post.
Just one.
Anything.
And this isn't about blame. It is simply the truth. And the truth only knows how to do one thing... be the truth.
You may not like it. It may say that one side is more at fault and therefore you want to say it is blame... but it is simply the truth.
In northern U.S. cities, prior to packing blacks in like sardines away from white people (I dare you to try and say that is not what happened) - lower class blacks lived pretty much identical to lower class whites. They lived together. Spread out across the cities in slum areas.
Buuut.... as cities grew those once outlying areas where the poor lived - started to become valuable. Really valuable.
So city planners (overwhelmingly Democrat, sorry that is simply true) decided "hey - lets just build massive housing units and place them on the outskirts of the city so this don't happen again!...what do you say??" - HELL YESS!!!....
So in Chicago, as an example, in Cabrina Green... 20,000 people lived in ONE SQUARE MILE.
Forced out of their neighborhoods, most lost their jobs...and went on welfare.

And this was supposed to work??

What is racist about telling the story of what happened???

We all need to be cautious about personal attacks on others here in the CDZ.
Any person who persists in denying that slavery's end didn't contribute the main motivation to Americans to be racist, isn't being honest.

I've repeatedly made the point that the US Constitution needed to compromise on racism of the southern states and that it is fatally flawed for that reason.

Your comments reaffirm that America has a huge problem between it's white population and its blacks. You mention it repeatedly and so give the impression that is all you are interested in discussing with me. So yes, we all know that.

If you want it to be about 'truth' and not about blame, then don't tell me about what side is to blame.

or just find somebody else to be a willing victim of your anger. We're not getting anywhere other than coming to agreement on America's racism problem.

Americans in large part are not in disagreement with their country's 15th. place on 'quality of life'. They just suggest that the poor who have contributed to that sad statistic, are to blame for not working hard enough. Have I got that right?

There are some people who are unfortunate victims of circumstance, but most people end up where they are in life based on their own decisions, good or bad. That is irrefutable.

Right for America I guess, but definitely wrong for Canada and the world's leading countries on 'quality of life' for all their people.

That's good enough for America as an answer, but it's not good enough for those other countries and Canada. We've been over this time after time.

It's not up to me to try to explain any further for you and besides, you wouldn't agree with me anyway. Why not just stop obsessing over the truth that even you have no interest in rebutting?

you got a lot of nerve warning about personal attacks and then calling americans racist,,

youve done almost nothing but make racist remarks and suggest racist agendas,,,

and for your info slavery is alive and well in the world and there are currently more slaves than all of them that ever existed in america

a little self reflection might do you some good,,,

and there is nothing flawed in our constitution cause without it slavery might still exist and is also why its lasted 250 yrs while you guys are on what your 5th? in that same time frame

Listen up! I have stage IV liver failure, Type 2 diabetes, and coronary artery disease. my insurance works just great. Settled? You know nothing!

Why would you suggest I know nothing? I know that you are satisfied with your insurance coverage and the high quality of health care America is providing for you.

And I also know that all the people deserve the same.

I only suspect that it would be the right time to accept that is true, considering you own personal health pending.

I studied hard in school and got a decent job with benefits. If someone did not, that is their problem!

I studied hard in school and got a decent job with benefits. If someone did not, that is their problem!

ya, like millions of people who lost their jobs and businesses during the pandemic right...
lazy suckers...

It's pretty clear that the battle lines have been drawn in America now. The poor are only poor because they are/were lazy. - The Republican position.

America doesn't provide good paying jobs for it's masses and hence widespread poverty that is due to no controls over income inequality. - The Democrat position.

And I right about the positions of both parties?

I'm not asking which side is right. I'm just framing the two positions correctly, at least in my opinion.

Is it close enough to correct, or would anybody like to make it more correct by modifying what I've said?
