Michigan Charges Ex-Governor Rick Snyder With 'Neglect' in Flint Water Crisis

Michigan ex-governor Rick Snyder has been charged with two counts of willful neglect of duty in Flint water crisis.

"Prosecutors in Michigan have charged former governor Rick Snyder, who governed the state during the Flint water crisis, with two counts of willful neglect of duty -- Snyder faces up to one year in prison on the misdemeanor charges, with a maximum fine of $1000. Former Michigan Director of Health and Human Services Nick Lyon has been charged with nine felony counts of involuntary manslaughter in connection in connection to the water crisis; if convicted, each involuntary manslaughter charge carries a penalty of up to 15 years in prison."

This is outrageous, Rick Snyder and others haven't even been in office for years -- why are these radical leftists Dems continuing to torture them like this?? He isn't running for office anymore, anywhere; isn't that punishment enough??

However, there is one thing the Dems are overlooking -- the reason Snyder is even in this mess is because he gave himself "Emergency Powers" which essentially erased democratic representation in exchange for autocratic rule...which simply stated means the people Michiganders voted for locally (mayor, city council, etc) -- none of their votes mattered because Snyder took away powers from them (especially in majority darkie areas) and made decisions on their behalf.

Unfortunately, his decisions got people killed and him arrested but still.....Why can't Trump do the same thing and set aside all normal democratic processes and just take more of a "Emergency Management" role and make decisions for the rest of the country himself instead of this goofy representative democracy crap -- how can you have a representative democracy if you allow other people to vote for the side you don't want to have power?? What are you gonna do?? Rely on your policies and ideas to win people over to your side? Screw that!
