House Democrats propose bill to let sidelined Pentagon watchdog stay on coronavirus oversight panel
'The leadership of the House Oversight and Reform Committee is proposing a bill to allow the Pentagon's former top watchdog to lead a panel overseeing the $2.2 trillion coronavirus relief effort despite President Trump removing him from his role as acting Department of Defense inspector general.
A bill introduced by committee Chairwoman Carolyn Maloney D-N.Y.) and Reps. Gerry Connolly (D-Va.) and Stephen Lynch(D-Mass.) — chairmen of committee subpanels — would expand the eligibility of who can chair the coronavirus relief oversight panel, allowing Glenn Fine to maintain his chairmanship.'
The President has the authority to fire people, and the Democrats ae pissed that they have NO say, can NOT override the President or dictate how he conducts business (as the Pelosi attempted to do with the US Senate during Impeachment)....
'“Pursuant to the law Congress just passed, Mr. Fine was chosen to be the chairman of the new Pandemic Response Accountability Committee—with widespread support in Congress,” Maloney, Connolly and Lynch said in a joint statement Wednesday. “Yet the president almost immediately removed him for no apparent reason."
Awwwww, the Democrats are sad the President refused to be saddled with someone the traitors who have tried to Impeach him for the last 4+ years attempted to force on his COVID-19 team....which they publicly vow to launch (Impeachment) investigations on how Trump and his administration handles COVID-19 response.
The new Dem-created 'Pandemic response ACCOUNTABILITY Committee' is just another committee Democrats have created whose #1 responsibility is not to help carry out the relief effort but to find anything and everything they could use to take down the President and his team.
Do they REALLY think the President would sit back and let them place more moles and DNC operatives in his administration whose goal is to find a way to Impeach him instead of doing anything to help citizens and this country get through / over this crisis?
