Why do conservatives refuse to admit that we're already overpopulated?

There are over seven billion humans on the planet. It can sustain about nine billion at the absolute maximum. The upper limit for for everyone to live comfortably is about two billion at the absolute maximum. The US alone contains over 32 million of those people. Europe adds another 733 million. One country and the smallest continent add up to 38.5% of that comfortable maximum and almost 10% of the hard limit. This isn't a looming crisis. This is a crisis already in progress with full scale collapse in plain sight. We need to stabilize the steady rise of the annual population growth percentage just to continue surviving as a species for another century. We would need to go just as hard in the other direction for a long time just to return to optimum levels.

Despite these mathematical facts, conservatives turn a blind eye to the whole thing and refuse even to consider the existence of the problem. They continue whistling like all is well as they enslave women as baby factories for the state, oppose sex education, teach children that using contraception and birth control will make them go to Hell, and fight legal abortion tooth and nail. It just doesn't enter their tiny little minds that they just might go down with the planet they're intent on murdering, or that they'll utterly deserve it.

Could the problem be damage to, and pollution of resources? Are we not polluting rivers, streams, lakes, and oceans? Are we not polluting our drinking water? Are we not polluting the air and land? Could the problem be that we're not very good stewards of our natural resources?

Have we inhabited all regions and areas of Earth? Have we completely run out of room? Are we over concentrated in some regions? Is our problem really one of over-population, or one of poor management? Would proper sanitary facilities, waste disposal facilities, and resource management education help relieve land, air, and water pollution? Would better care of our forests and wilderness areas help the environment?

Are we seeing over-population, or are we seeing poor use and management of natural resources? Are we our own worse enemy and attempting to pass the blame onto population growth? Would a less populated Earth equate to clean air, water, and uncontaminated land? Would a less populated Earth ensure proper use and care of natural resources? Is it really the number of people, or is it the number of people that has a total disregard for the preservation and stewardship of clean water, air, uncontaminated land, and natural resources?

Sounds like there aren't enough dead babies for ya. But we are closer to 330 million in number. You could practice what your preach and jump off a cliff.

Maybe if you didn't just make up numbers you might be taken seriously. Where did you get them?

I don't believe there is a real limit to population growth, if there is it is likely in the trillions, it is more a matter of exploiting energy sources than anything else.

The nice thing about achieving our objective and murdering this planet is that we can more easily plan for the day we would like to contract mad cow disease.

And maybe a venereal disease.

Im starting to see that conservativism is designed to lower the population. If you take away public schools how many people will have less children because they can't afford to?

They want to take away foodstamps and welfare so hopefully poor women stop having kids.

Having 2 or 3 kids when you don't make 6 figures without public schools? Forget about it.

Seems to me Republican policies should lower birth rates and to me that might be a good thing.

Why is it that the people who always make that claim are still alive?!? :dunno:

One would logically assume that a person who felt the world was "overpopulated" would kill themselves to stop being part of the problem and stop being part of the problem.

The U.S. has about 330 million people. Your numbers are completely unreliable. And your position is contradictory since you clearly haven't killed yourself yet.

Which republicans? Abortion has nothing to do with population control. Think of something real to whine about.

I've seen some stupid arguments for trying to get someone else to pay for your abortions, but this takes the cake. Where to even start this ridiculous post...

Assumptions based on what? Hell you don't even know how many people are in the US, mathematical fact that. LMAO

The US contains 32 million?

I know liberals are terrible at math but that is just pathetic. BTW the only places crowded in the US are the liberal shitholes.
