Barbara who??? You replace one of the greatest men to ever wage war against the United States with this black whore?? You couldn't find any other respectable Virginians to honor instead?? Like Harry F. Virginia, of course, has a governor who trying his best to prove how much he loves certain folks, after coming awfully close to being forced to resign because of a yearbook photograph.

Looks like Virginia did not want visitors to the capitol thinking of the confederacy in association with their state, proudly leaving their statue of our founding father and Native Virginian George Washington for all the world to see. Elections have consequences. At the same time, the Virginians brought their statue of Lee, another native son, home to the Virginia Museum of History & Culture, which is currently undergoing renovation. The real statement was replacing with Barbara Johns. If they wanted a black female to replace, rather than Barbara Johns (courageous yes, but largely unknown) the should have gone with Ella Fitzgerald.
