Why did Hitler hate the Jews?

That he was a madman is insufficient. That explains nothing. That he had a hatred that began to blossom with the expulsion of the Jews from Germany to full bloom with the Final Solution is without parallel unless one compares Hitler to Moses.

I once tried to point out Hitler's association with the officers when he was a messenger.

If Zimmermann's admission shattered the indifference with which three-quarters of the United States had regarded the war, what the German officers said about their illustrious foreign minister went from stupidity to perhaps treason.

Unfortunately for the Jews of Europe Hitler was a messenger and spent as much time waiting for the officers messages as he did in the trenches.

The memory of such conversations by the officers, when the Balfour Declaration was published, led Hitler to recognize Zionism as an enemy of Germany. He conferred nationhood to the Jews and sought to expel them. The rest is history.

Fear of another group is used to maintain power.
After the cold war ended I knew it would not take us long to find another demon.
Bush succeeded in that very well. Muslim islamofascists.

They were a convenient target. Monsters like him always argue to a target. You see this kind of think even in Homer's Illiad, where Odysseus pulled this stunt using Theristies. It is a tool 2500 years old that still works, as witness 0bama's use of the insurance companies in the run up to the abortion that just passed.

As to the murder machinery, that was there to instill fear. Terrorism and scapegoatism is the way to maintain a socialist utopia.

And as for why the Jews... They were significantly different in outlook in a way that was dangerous to the regime. They refused to believe that things were to be done because they were told that way. They had a long history of refusing to toe the intellectual line. You can't have a socialist utopia with people asking questions the regime has a hard time answering. So the folks who might ask questions have to die

Because his mother <to whom he had a rather unhealthy attachment> died under the care of a Jewish physician. Somehow he also completely forgot that he was part Jew, or perhaps in extinguishing the Jews in Germany he somehow felt that would get rid of the part of him he hated most?

Every Totalitarian Leader Wannabe needs an internal target.

Hitler had the Jews.

Obama, Pelosi, and Reid have the Insurance Companies.

Because it was the culture of Germany, sure events happened that may of made this one man hate but that said it was the culture of Germany.

One must ask how did Hitler's propaganda influence Richard Wagner when Richard Wagner's anti-Semitic work came before Hitler by decades.

One must study German and European culture through the 1800's to understand.

Everybody seems to need a scapegoat; for example; the Democratic Party uses the evilll oil companies and insurance companies as scapegoats to rally support, the GOP uses 9-11, Muslims and the evilllll unions to rally support and Hitler's scapegoat was them "dastardly money sucking" Jews.

I believe that the Nazi agenda also stemmed from the importance that the Nazis attached to the concept of "racial purity". They thought that the mixing of the races (Jew and German) would weaken the Germanic bloodline.

I heard it was because he couldn't get into art school and the headmaster was Jewish.

They needed a THEM for his people to attack.

The right is now doing this with the Muslim religion

Why is the right trying to turn this into a fight with all of the Muslim religion?
