Why can't Israel fight its own wars??

Every time the State of Israel gets into a armed conflict - be it a skirmish or full-blown war, America is always expected to step in and lend a hand.

Except, of course,

In 1948, 1956, 1967, 1973, 1982, 1987, 2000, 2006, and every single conflict between 2008 and 2025.

In fact, since Israel was founded in 1948 and the 6 Day War of 1967 - America enforced a strict arms blockade on Israel and America citizens were imprisoned for attempting to supply the tiny Jewish state with arms.
