Well nice quasar has the answers

When the sun sets it is lower on the horizon , which means the light rays have to go through much more or the earths atmosphere!!
Well that means more blue scatter is gone from the white light
The sun is out of blue light !!
If the sun has no more blue light , then what does it have left ??

Dirty air. We must decrease pollution so those annoying multi-colored sunsets don't make us stop and ponder.

Time is too short to waste.

The sky is blue because the WL of blue is about the same size as the N particles in the sky
So blue gets reflected

You're sorta kinda right. It mainly has to do with the particles of dust and droplets of moisture in the air. Shorter wavelengths are blocked and scattered by them as they are similar in size. Longer wavelengths (red) are transparent to it and pass right through due to being so much longer.

A little like why you can look through your window of your microwave door but the microwaves themselves are trapped inside.

When Venus is said to be "on the horizon" it's a beautiful pinkish combination of hues, but sailors look for the pinkish reds at night but not at dawn "Red at night sailor's delight, red sky in morning, take warning". I've never seen a true red sky although it would be an awesome sight while at the same time a tad bit disturbing;)

The sun doesn't run out of blue light. Your answer sucks.

Your response sucked just as bad as your answer. It is always 5 o'clock somewhere.

Well you are free to put me on ignore because it traumatizes you to see red ink on your paper, in the mean time, the sky's blue hue at twilight is not because the sun has run out of blue light :cuckoo:

Yes that is white light already in the atmosphere. The sky gets darker blue as the day progresses
