I hate the Nazis but can't help but notice that one faith has largely been critical of fantasy worlds.

Is It Proper…? Is there anything wrong with playing violent video games?

A military made up of only religious fanatics will LOSE! We have seen this with the Imperial Japanese Army, The Waffen SS, and the Jihadists.

Actually it seems the Nazis were not only fond of the fantasy world but they committed murder to try to make it real.
