I am truly surprised that a mere 30% of Jewish voters voted Republican.

Recently, a group of 'Jews for Trump' was violently attacked by Democrat voters in NYC.
Did the Jewish voters forget where something like happened in recent history...or that Obama sabotaged Netanyahu time and again, sent Democrat lawyers to Israel to defeat Netanyanu and install a weak Israeli government that would bend to the Palestinians?

At the heart of the Democrat Party are virulent anti-Semites like Tlaib, Ilhan Omar and AOC.
Obama came from an anti-Semitic church, the Trinity United Church of Christ, with black Muslim pastor Wright as his mentor.
And that picture of Obama with Farrakhan, a picture hidden until Obama was out of office.

Obama gave Iran a guarantee of nuclear weapons with which to destroy Israel, with Biden as V-P, laid the groundwork for the annihilation of Israel.

And Trump supported Israel, brokered peace deals between Israel and several Arab nations, moved the embassy to Israel's capital,.....even has a town in Israel named for him, Ramat Trump.

Yet 70% of Jewish voters voted Democrat.

Bibi can handle Biden. He said he has known Biden for years. Biden has agreed to recognize jerusalem as our capital but we don't know how he will react to the new settlements that will cut off Jerusalem from Arab cities in the west bank.

Or, how do we define the word in these modern times?

1.The greatest nation ever to grace this planet, America, was founded by orthodox trinitarian Christians. Get that straight: while founded by Christians, it was never founded to be a Christian-only confabulation.

Proof of this can be gleaned from the simple fact that those Founders saw themselves as a continuation of the Hebrews of the old Testament, and, in fact, several of the Founders wanted the great seal of the United States to picture the Hebrews escaping the Pharaoh at the Red Sea, comparing themselves escaping the King of England.

The Jewish folks were held in high regard.

2. FDR was far less so inclined when it came to the Jewish people. He was a bigot. But, even though Franklin Roosevelt and his Progressives allied with both the Nazis and the Bolsheviks, the revelations of the Holocaust shuffled the political cards:

"American progressives, for the most part, did not disavow fascism until the horrors of the Nazi Holocaust became manifest during World War II. After the war, those progressives who had praised Mussolini and Hitler in the 1920s and 1930s had no choice but to dissociate themselves from fascism. “Accordingly,” writes Jonah Goldberg, “leftist intellectuals redefined fascism as 'right-wing' and projected their own sins onto conservatives, even as they continued to borrow heavily from fascist and pre-fascist thought.” This progressive campaign to recast fascism as the "right-wing" antithesis of communism was aided by Joseph Stalin,..."
Goldberg, Liberal Fascism

More than ever, Democrats, who maintained political attachments with communism, raised their association with Jewish folks to an even higher level than before the war, almost as an apology for their lack of support for Jews in Europe (Stalin turned escaping Jews over to his Nazi allies).

3.For many, and, judging by voting behavior, most Jewish folks wedded themselves to the Democrat Party. Ironically, over time, the propaganda has hidden that the Democrat Party has become the home for more and more racists, and anti-Semites.

But the result of result has diluted the religion of Judaism, largely, into a political version, Liberalism/Progressivism….part of the religion of Militant Secularism.
Many who call themselves Jews would be unwelcome into communities of religious Jews of a handful of decades ago.
They vote against the interests of the Jewish homeland, Israel, America’s ally in that part of the world, they support the party that has lowered standards for civility and morality, and still demand the respect that traditional Judaism was awarded in earlier eras.

4. But not all Jews….hence this schism:
“Baltimore Private School Alums Outraged Over Headmaster’s Condemnation of Anti-Semitism
A group of self-described "white alums" from a historically Jewish private school in Baltimore excoriated the institution's leadership this week after they condemned anti-Semitism from black students, alums, and parents who demanded the school implement a wide-ranging series of reforms.”

Jews who demand the firing of a Jew who eschews anti-Semitism???????

Who’s the Jew.the Headmaster, or the ones who support anti-Semitism?

It is a testament to the wonders of liberalism that you are allowed, no doubt through liberal donations, and liberal laws and regulations, to have your very own computer and access the internet so you can screech and scream and shout "Fire! FIre! Fire at the liberals and democrats!"

The simple definition of a Jew is a person that is born to a Jewish mother or that has converted to Judaism. Not all Orthodox Jews consider a Conservative or Reform conversion to be a real conversion to Judaism but they can believe that if they want.

This is the problem when you read the title and nothing else.
The question was spelled out in precise language, right there in the OP.
The question is one of politics, not theology.

Not all Jews act as one and agree or disagree on everything. Based on that article you posted about the headmaster and that school as a Jew i'd say that the school shouldn't have to change their support for Israel or the money they make because of those demands. If the point is to debate whether or not being anti-Zionist is also anti-semitic then that's a real debate.

I would say that you are overgeneralizing Jews to just simply being either not Jewish because they are democrats or being real Jews because they are republicans. There are different movements within Judaism and they all have differences. You are in Brooklyn so I know you've seen the differences and know that there are a variety of beliefs and communities. Israel isn't always a top political or social thing in the minds of probably the majority of Jews in the United States. I'm Jewish (conservative movement), my whole family is Jewish, but Israel and Israeli politics is not something I ever really think about on a daily basis. I don't speak for all Jews but I would bet that all Jews vote similar to all other Americans in this country which is they vote on the issues that are most important to each of them.

Obama and the current Democrat Party have an open and existential animus to Jews.
They armed a nation that has openly admitted to and activated proxies that slaughter innocents simply because they are Jewish.

"Democrat Leader "Ocasio-Cortez Attacks Israel....

New York socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez attacked Israel in a recent interview on PBS's "Firing Line," calling them the occupiers of Palestine and later admitting that she has no idea what she is talking about regarding Israel.

Ocasio-Cortez's remarks came in response to a question from host Margaret Hoover, who asked her to explain comments she made about Israel after she attacked them for defending themselves against an attack from Hamas terrorists.

Ocasio-Cortez, who called the shooting a "massacre," said that she thinks that Israel has the right to "exist," adding, "but I also think that what people are starting to see, at least, in the occupation of Palestine, is just an increasing crisis of humanitarian condition. And that, to me, is just where I tend to come from on this issue."

Hoover then pressed Ocasio-Cortez, "You use the term 'the occupation of Palestine.' What do you mean by that?"

The 28-year-old socialist struggled, "Um... I think what I meant is ... like ... the settlements that are increasing in some of these areas and places where Palestinians are experiencing difficulty in access to their housing and homes."

Hoover: "Do you think you can expand on that?"

Ocasio-Cortez fumbled, "Yeah... I mean, I think ... I'd ... also just— I am not the expert on geo-politics on this issue."

I really, really, really get upset when people say unkind things about Jewish people. (I never use the three-letter word for a Jewish person, for it sounds too harsh to my ears.)

Are they perfect? Of course, not. They are only human beings like the rest of us.

But I know this: I am 99% sure that no Jewish young gentleman is going to rob a store and then kill the clerk; no Jewish young gentleman is going to sucker punch me as I walk down the street; and no Jewish young gentleman is going to loot someone's store.

It is outrageous that "certain" students are verbally abusing Jewish students at that school. What a nerve!

Thank you.
