My family is more along the lines of the extremists, more or less. Some relatives are more liberal in thought than others (well, only two). I'm not afraid of our elected leaders, I"m just annoyed by them.

Don't try kidding yourself, nor me either. Your willingness to turn a blind eye to people like OBL and Saddam Hussein puts just as much blood on YOUR hands as if YOU were weilding the sword.

I "relish" in not just rolling over for any and everyone that wants to destroy the society in which I live, and is more than willing to do so by any means. If that means destroying them to accomplish that objective, then so be it.

At least I'm willing to take a stand for something that is good and right. The only stand you take is criticizing this Nation while you have it's milk and honey running down your chin.

Just for your info, I was a liberal before you were a consideration. When the left abandoned moderation and common sense, the moderates abandoned the left. Nothing remains of the left but extremism, and you're just one more part of it.

A liberal extremist doesnt have to aim to kill thousands, it does it with its idealogy. Millions of people are dead because of liberalism. But they dont really count since they are justified sacrifices to reach the socialist utopia that can never exist.

But rather than admit the flaws in the theories that produces a culture of death, cowardice, and deception, they just rewrite the history of what happened and blame it on the conservatives who have that "perverse" idealogy of limited government, self sufficiency, protecting life, and having a say of what happens in society. The best theories of the political spectrum tend to view it as a circle rather than a line. If moderate is the top of the circle, then revolutionary and reactionary merge somewhere at the bottom. A revolutionary and reactionary are two very different people, yet their goal ultimately has had the same result: death and destruction. Millions have died from the most extreme form of liberalism: totalitarian communism. Just as millions died from the ultra conservative despotism that existed prior. Both are ugly, and we can agree that neither shall ever surface again.

Basic American conservatism and liberalism are not dangerous. If you trade their strengths and weaknesses, you have a pretty good system. Unfortunately, the conservatives we see in power today do not practice the concepts of conservatism you posted. Limited government today means limited government intervention for corporation, not for the people. A strong conservative named Dwight D. Eisenhower once warned America that an active citizenry will not allow military strength to infringe on civil liberties...what a difference 45 years makes for the Republican party. To todays conservatives, self sufficiency means ignoring a very dangerous wealth disparity that will threaten the stability of our great nation. Protecting life means, banning abortion (I go back and forth on that issue), but pursuing an over-aggressive foreign policy that will send hundreds of thousands to their death.

I have no problems with a conservative, I may not agree on all issues, but agreement is not necessary. I do have a problem with those who are willing to ignore the danger this administration and their other PNAC friends have thrown America in the face of. The 21st century neoconservative defies the rules history has taught the world, and even a kindergartner can tell you that history repeats itself.

Take Vietnam for instance. We have all the benefits of history to understand why we "lost" that war. We have learned the lesson of what happens if we run away from the world. The liberal movement of the 60s is directly responsible for the deaths of millions of southeast asians because they were too busy getting high and acting self righteous to recognize geniune evil. No you see the Viet Cong were socialists. They were their kindred. They couldnt possibly be as evil as the "capitalist" infrastructure stated.

The socialist idealogy that liberalism is centered around has caused nothing but misery, death, and oppression in its existence. But its ignored. The Soviet death camps ignored. The killing fields were ignored. The real threat is always ignored. and for what? Power. Because some of them actually think that they can make oppression work without being so oppressive. Its insane.

Or how about appeasement for example. We have seen what happens when nations refuse to step up to threats in the 1930s. History is repeating itself. But I guess thats alright if you ignore it. you are 19 after all. lets learn things the hard way rather than by learning from the mistakes of others.

Liberalism doesnt work. It never has. It never will. While this nation was based on the founders understanding of human nature, liberalism ignores this fundamental aspect. Its founding principles are based in fantasy. And it seems likely that even more people are going to die before this happens. You have the audacity to support an idealogy that advocates murdering ones offspring and you think we are derranged?

Oh and when you fight to undermine our credibility in the world. When you fight to undermine our actions to protect ourselves and others, you arent hurting the leaders, You are hurting american security. When you falsely cry that "so and so stole my election" you are hurting america by undermining its system of government. When you support judicial activism you are hurting america by destroying the checks that keep this system in balance. When you murder your children you are destroying the future generations of America. When you go around badmouthing America in other nations, you are the ones causing other nations to disrespect us. I have turned a blind eye when I have voted for someone who has turned a blind eye.

Hippies did not kill hundreds of thousands of South Vietnamese citizens, the communists did. Liberal "cold warriors" and conservatives just decided to tack 56,000 on to the death toll.

Conservatives can keep saying the world has black and white fundamentals. They will continue to beat their dicks into the sand and wonder why the war on terror is not an easy win. Perhaps because good can not beat evil without making life a living hell for those caught in the middle. That just gives rise to more evil. Suddenly black and white are swirling into a grey mix. When there is a failure to appreciate the colors of the world, mistakes are bound to happen.
