Republican Governor Bobby Jindal the state has the most extensive school choice program found anywhere. As the Times-Picayune reports:

“About 6,750 low-income children are attending private school on publicly funded vouchers."

So Jindal is forcing Louisiana taxpayers to give poor kids a government mandated handout?

Sounds like something liberals get crucified for on a regular basis.

2. Replace with schools requiring payment.

3. Hand out vouchers for some of the payment.

4. Claim you were helping.

In terms of literally helping the poor, Americans have always outperformed liberals.

American principle has put more poor in homes with floors above the dirt than liberals; put more food on their table, than liberals... put more clothes on their children and given them the skills to sustain themselves and their families.

So... yeah. It follows that American Governance has out performed liberalism across the board.
