You've got to have “proof beyond a reasonable doubt” before you even bring a case in court against a damned cop, and if that cop even points a finger of suspicion at you, you're dead if they ever let you out of prison on that.
Plus, the Air Force is a little red-light district unto itself, with radically different ideas at their court-martial office of what actually constitutes being married versus committing adultery or infidelity that what most civilians or personnel of other branches of the military would think.

It's not up to the media to release his name. The family needs to press charges for murder. Others need to file criminal complaints. We need the courts to drive the revelation about who the murderer was.
