White House Correspondents' Association cancels 2021 dinner

This is the second year in a row that the annual event has been axed because of the pandemic.

This year’s event would have coincided with the new Biden administration and offered a possible return to the tradition of the president’s attendance. President Donald Trump, who had an antagonistic relationship with the press, skipped the event when it was held the first three years of his term.
