As mentioned in the NewsWeek article, ...CRT dehumanizes human beings I.M.O. and is nothing more than a political game for power , which is why it even has to be lied about, denials made that it is even taught.
Weirder still is this thing called WHITE ADJACENT.
thoughts?

"Asians are harmed in multiple ways by the "white adjacency" myth. Asian Americans have struggled in this country, as well—let us not forget the Chinese Exclusion Act or World War II-era Japanese internment. Yet, the concept is frequently used to silence Asian Americans when they attempt to explain their own struggles. It also gives universities such as Harvard the required justification to discriminate against Asian American applicants. Asians are an inconvenient minority because their idiosyncratic high performance is a threat to prevailing woke narratives about diversity and the myth of a largely-white hegemony in the Ivy League. As the coastal elite continues to double down on CRT, Asian Americans will continue to be a thorn in their side.

Asian Americans are not "white-adjacent." They are unique individuals from many distinct cultures. Their individual successes are theirs alone, and belittling those successes as "white-adjacent" is racist in myriad ways. It has to stop."

Due to the fact that America redefined herself as a multiracial nation after WWII, against the will of her people, the perfectly reasonable Chinese Exclusion Act is now seen as part of the country's supremacist past.

I dont know how reasonable the Chinese Exclusion Act was, but of course it's easier to judge by todays standards and It would depend on how other immigrants were being treated at the same time I suppose.

However, if you happened to be a Chinese at the time, it would have been a hardship.

We welcome Asians because they aren't a drain on society. They work, they start businesses, they control their children and promote their success. Their children thrive in school. You are safe in their neighborhoods, there isn't lot of Asian on Asian crime. They don't riot and destroy others property. They don't expect special treatment...

The OP claims the Chinese Exclusion Act was racist.

How many chinese individuals were forcibly removed from China, enslaved and subjected to Jim Crow by the Chinese Exclusion Act?

How can the mere fact of remaining in China (their homeland, for Heaven's sake!!) be considered an act of racism practiced by the US?

Inquiring minds want to know. :dunno::dunno::dunno::dunno:

The OP says it was a HARDSHIP.... i dont know all the reasons for the Chinese Exclusion act at the time, wether it was completely RACIST or not...or just in part, it was still a hardship if you were Chinese and had to relocate back to China or whatever else it did to you.
It goes to show many people have suffered hardships in their individual ways

They were denied citizenship and many were forced to go back to China. I didnt say it was racism, but there was probably a race element for sure. One of the complaints was that Chinese workers were driving down wages...

CRT dehumanizes no one. You don't even know what it is.

White adjacency is real since whites always seem to try defending Asians. Harvard has not discriminated against Asians. That's a lie. 25 percent of the students there are Asian.
