While the population was busy arguing about whether a millionaire duck-call maker was a victim of political correctness gone haywire, had his 1st Amendment rights violated, or was just fired, our congress was busy fast-tracking the latest NDAA. The original "indefinite detention" is still in there, along with some pretty terrible abuses of the information gathered (illegally/unconstitutionally) by the NSA.

I guess as long as Phil gets his job back, we'll be ok. Who needs those pesky rights anyway? As long as we have cable.
