So which forms of protest work the beset in achieving results?

1. The Leftist version of destroying property and taking lives?

2. The MLK approach of peaceful protest

3. A manipulation of the pocket book, much like Gandhi telling people to stop working and put a halt to the economy or boycotting an industry?

At the moment burning down pharmacies and looting Target seem to be the most effective forms of "protest" as the mayor of the city in question basically bent over backward to appease the savages. Sends a great message to future generations: shit where you live and sleep, reap rewards, profit.

Hmmmm... I dunno... the Alternative Prediction would be that you could go to Minneapolis in 10 years and still see burned-out buildings in some crappy neighborhoods.

4. The ballot box
Keep in mind that Jesse Smollett staged getting beat up by white Trump supporters in order to do just that.

Funny, nothing happened to him despite trying to incite violence and death.

Jesse must be in hog heaven with this violence!

Big group of people = government can't do shit and your will be heard.

Peaceful protest = Won't get you anywhere.

Worked in Ferguson and Baltimore.

4. The ballot box

Yep......the ballot box. Take away an election from one party by voting most of their people out, and they tend to take notice.....and get sneakier in their lying for the next election...but it is the only way if we want to have peace between elections...

Well....technically, I would rather seem them destroy their own neighborhoods with the fires and looting and violence than leave and do it somewhere else...wouldn't you?

It depends what you're trying to change.

Which of the above would best get a message thru to the local police?

#3 (boycotts) Have been effective on some things, but how can you boycott the police, especially if some of them are willing to kill you in front of people holding up cellphone cameras while even the camera operators are begging cops not to kill the handcuffed victim?

Which form of government response works best? You have (mostly) democrat administrations sending hit squads to intimidate, ticket and arrest church goers and people not wearing masks in public and the same administrations allow anarchists to burn down a city.

This is a great question and great topic. I think the best way is through voting, true peaceful protests, get involved in government to shape policy....,All easier said than done. The worst thing is riots, civic disruption and disruption and anything that infringes upon another’s rights.

The tragic horrific image of a Black man dying because of a knee to the neck ought to enrage everyone and there needs to be accountability. How is destroying a man’s business where his life savings are tied into it or burning down a pharmacy preventing an elderly woman from getting medication.... how is that going to create justice?

Dem's encourage blacks to riot and loot. If Dems sent the police and national guard in there, arrested and jailed hundreds of looters and set an example there would be any more looting in short order.

In reality there's no such thing as a peaceful demonstration
The peacers know that when they demonstrate the criminal element will join in.
Which is what they wanted all along.
