I have been reading Thomas Sowell's "Basics of economics" and find it to be a amazing book that can be easily understood. It comes from a capitalistic view so now I find it only fair to give other economic systems a chance at making me a believer, So I ask what/where is the best place to learn the system of socialism from a respectable source.
If you guys could not go with the easy to be made jokes like "the trash" or "the ghetto" that would be appreciative.
Unless its a really good clever made joke.

There isn't one successful nation on earth that doesn't have some government regulations and a public sector.

Anyone that thinks otherwise is someone to be laughed out of the room.

There's a huge difference between civilization using common sense regulations and laws and what we see in central America...

People like the guy you're reading would have us go back to the 19th century where most of our society are slaves to the super rich.

So if I wanted to be informed about how socialism works down to the basics where shall I go?
