Good point. The high percentage of Black-White couples in commercials mostly feature a Black woman with a White man. That seems rather demeaning to Black men.

If I were of the age to be looking, the only black woman I would consider is a practicing Catholic. It would mean she is educated, thinks things through, and it almost certainly a good person. The same would likely go for her family. She would be low-key and probably conservative. All these things would require courage because she would be bucking the typical American black mein.

Something I’ve noticed in recent years since I started dating, and eventually married a Latina (Puerto Rican) woman… the highest quality minority women seem to not like minority men. I can’t say why that is for certain. You’d have t ask them.
