I knew that ... as soon as I started reading the list ... "sounds more like Congress than professional athletes" ... it was the credit card bullet point, NBA and NFL players are mostly black, and that's the reason they can't get credit cards ... has nothing to do with poor credit ...

Well @ least our U.S. congress does not engage in the illegal insider trading gimmick, eh? Our former congressmen , Tom Foley(D), received the highest award a constituency can bestow upon a Representative, he was voted out of office(essentially FIRED) as a standing Speaker Of The House. As far as I know Foley was only the 2nd SOTH fired from office in U.S. history. Then Foley turned around & sued his former constituency! Of course the statist left not wanting to admit defeat turned around & had Spokane county erect a memorial to Tom @ the north end of the Wandermere bridge, facing south(right lane). I pass that big green colored "memorial" every time I head to my acreage from Spokane city. It reads; Thomas Stephen "Tom" Foley MEMORIAL HIWAY. It ought to read Thomas Stephen "LITTLE CAPOPONE" Foley memorial ripoff artist. President Clinton made sure that Tom remained in public office as Ambassador to Japan(you scratch my back & I'll scratch your back scenario).

To be fair Tom's replacement, George Nethercutt(R) also proved a phony as he reneged on his campaign promise of serving only three terms max. It like near took military action to rid our 5th district of Nethercutt. Be careful of who you vote for, as you just might get him/her!
