These people were targeted because they committed crimes. In most instances, a jury agreed. Trump paid off people like Roger Stone by pardoning them as a reward for keeping quiet. Roger Stone had a channel to WikiLeaks which was the fence for the information the Russians stole from the DNC server and Podesta's e-mails.

Dr Ford told the truth about Brett Kavanaugh. Also the Republicans interfered in the FBI investigation by limiting what they could investigate. These limitations were designed to prevent the FBI from finding the truth. Dr Ford was brutally attacked by Republicans for speaking out.

You have decided that Clapper lied. The DOJ was in Republican hands under Trump and they found no evidence that Clapper lied.
