What Kids Learn in Milwaukee Public Schools

Why would this be considered "indoctrination"? There have been a string of cases in which African-Americans have lost their lives at the hands of police or at the hands of private citizens whose actions have been ignored by police. Is there a problem with calling this out?

And you can thank Bush and Obama for militarizing the police forces. But I guess you wouldn't dare mention that.
How did Bush or Obama militarize our police? There is nothing wrong with demanding that our police forces, to whom we the public give so much power over us, do their jobs cleanly. The ridiculous right wingers talk about people being "anti-cop" and they are wrong. It is anti dirty cop: a cop with a badge who has feelings about people based on race, sex, political party, religion, or anything else, and is therefore not qualified to do his/her job. The same goes for judges.

And now back to the topic:

Why aren't these kids proficient in math and English????

.

There are many reasons. It usually winds up going back to the parents. I think it is our job as the parent to atleast give our kids basic knowledge and not relying on a state school to teach them everything especially since we know it is basically Rockefeller indoctrination which only teaches our kids to be obedient workers and not think for themselves.

Not sure what to make of your answer. Should children be required to achieve proficiency in subjects like math or English? If so, who is responsible for teaching them?

If your argument is that critical thinking is absent in the curriculum, I have to agree, Critical thinking however is facilitated by an understanding of language and math. To do any research into a subject reading comprehension is essential. To assess or estimate alternatives pathways or to verify assumptions math is an important skill.

With no language skills, no math skills there is little chance for critical thinking. The kids coming out of these schools aren't even useful idiots, they are just....idiots.

.

Language and math skills are taught in school.

You might want to take a look at the video in the first post.

The two schools mentioned in the video did not have a single student demonstrate English language proficiency - not one. In math, each school mentioned had only 1 (one) student demonstrate proficiency in math, for a total of 2 (two) students out of all the students from both schools.

Sorry but English and math are not being taught in the two schools mentioned in the video.

.

At one time we had the best schools in the world.

Now, their mission is very different, but they are just as successful at their new mission: indoctrination.

Yea they weren't bad until the Rockefellers got their hands on the public schooling and universities.

Pre 1840: Literacy Rates High, Schools Predominantly Private and Locally Controlled

Up until the 1840’s, the American school system was mainly private, decentralized, and home schooling was common. Americans were well educated and literacy rates were high.

1902: John D. Rockefeller Creates the General Education Board

At the ultimate cost of $129 million, the General Education Board provided major funding for schools across the nation and was very influential in shaping the current school system.

To over 100,000 schools? Not that "major." Most funding for public schools comes from local property taxes.

I'm a product/victim of a public education of the 70s and early 80s
I dont think throwing more money at us would of worked :p:auiqs.jpg:
Tranny story hour would of been a hoot ....

Minnesota has an excellent education system. I am more concerned about what southern states waste education funding on!

At the ultimate cost of $129 million, the General Education Board provided major funding for schools across the nation and was very influential in shaping the current school system.

Earlier American presidents, Republicans and Democrats alike, agreed on two basic goals: teach the newcomers English and make them Americans. The clear aim was to strengthen our national identity--to reinforce the unum in e pluribus unum--by assimilating the new arrivals into American civilization. http://www.aei.org/article/society-and-culture/anti-americanization/

The real damage began when the alliance between the Democrats and Educators became official

Department of Education is, of course, unconstitutional. The Constitution clearly states that powers not granted to the federal government belong to the states. So where is the impetus for its creation? Unions. The National Education Association (NEA) “In 1972, the massive union formed a political action committee…released ‘Needed: A Cabinet Department of Education’ in 1975, but its most significant step was to endorse a presidential candidate- Jimmy Carter- for the first time in the history of the organization.” D.T. Stallngs, “A Brief History of the Department of Education: 1979-2002,” p. 3.

When formed, its budget was $13.1 billion (in 2007 dollars) and it employed 450 people. IN 2010, the estimated budget is $107 billion, and there are 4,800 employees. http://crunchycon.nationalreview.co...-department-education-not-radical/mona-charen

“In November 1995, when the federal government shut down over a budget crisis, 89.4 percent of the department’s employees were deemed ‘nonessential’ and sent home.” Beck and Balfe, “Broke,” p.304

What Kids Learn in Milwaukee Public Schools
Education has nothing to do with it. The purpose of urban public schools is indoctrination. The MacIver Institute provides a peek behind the scenes at Milwaukee public schools:

A society consisting entirely of people who were educated like this would degenerate into Stone Age savagery within a few decades.

However, these kids are learning all that the Democrats in charge want them to know: how to be victims and how to vote for a living.

On a tip from Chuck A.

All links highlighted
At least the printing and carving will give them a skill
Social justice slogans are always in demand

I'm just wayciss so I can't possibly understand that marxist indoctrination is much much much more important then Math, Science, and English ....But of course the English language is extremely racist ....cause reasons and feelings

they will grow up to be angry racist Democrat rioters
