What Is Your Favorite Fruit?

You mean the fruit that identifies as being a vegetable?
A tomato is both a fruit and a vegetable.

Technically, from a botanical standpoint, edible fruits are vegetables because a vegetable is any edible part of a plant. However, in common parlance people usually distinguish between fruits and vegetables.

My top 3 are

1) Tomatoes
2) Olives
3) Bell Peppers

I'll have them in a garden salad every day. The exception is when I am out of town because there are very few restaurants that I trust enough to prepare me uncooked food.

And on my salad I always use my home made Italian dressing. It's main ingredients are extra virgin olive oil and my home made red wine vinegar. So grapes get an honorable mention.

There is a stinky fruit that should be against the Geneva Conventions as a chemical weapon. The Durian. Smells worse than a skunk. God, it must taste awful. I say this:

Another vegan thread? You monster! Have you no feelings for the flora?! :dunno:

LOL!

My fruity husband and his little red strawberry

Lol I can only guess what this means. 🤣

Some killer fruit no one has mentioned yet:
  • Rose hips! (I used to grow my own)
  • Mangos! Nothing beats a really, good, ripe mango!
  • Black cherries!
  • Blue Olives
  • Honeydew melons!
  • Papaya!
  • Passion fruit!
  • Red bell peppers
  • Hot peppers

Honeydew is really good too. 😋
No blueberries here except in the store,

Same.

I like it too~

Same here.

Snickers bars and Oreos.

Aren't they technically vegetables since they come from coco beans?

I like just about all of them except dates, kiwi, and watermelon.

Dates?

I never heard of them before.

No blueberries here except in the store, but I spend many hours every July/August picking huckleberries and I love 'em. I would give a lot for a fresh, juicy CA peach right out of the orchard as well.
I tasted both California peaches and peaches grown here in South Carolina. South Carolina peaches are more juicy and taste better.

Now that one I thought was a vegetable.
Olives, string beans, peppers etc are all fruit. Crazy right?
