What is the weakness of the right

Veterans still use the VA even though they could get private healthcare. Why is that? Would they be better off with no VA? Maybe having the option is better than not having it?
Yes. Most veterans who get healthcare through the VA stick with the VA rather than going to the private sector.

In most cases and locations the healthcare available through the VA meets or exceeds the quality available on the outside and out-of-pocket costs are lower.

Oh, no doubt the VA got a bad reputation overall spanning several decades but the agency has gotten its act together in the past twenty years or so.

There are still - to this very day - rotten-apple Medical Centers and Community Clinics and Clinicians and Practitioners and Administrators - nolo contendre.

There are still - to this very day - rotten-apple bureaucrats and pencil-pushers and even planners and project managers and medical oversight executives.

But they are now in a tiny and ever-shrinking minority as witnessed by the past decade or more of Veteran Satisfaction Surveys and collective outcomes.

VA healthcare is no longer the post-Vietnam -era tangled morass of bureaucratic rules and inadequate budgets... it offers world-class care nowadays.

And... given that Congress and the Executive Branch oversee the VA in a way superior to oversight given to any private healthcare consortium...

And... given that VA Medical Centers nowadays must ALSO pass muster by the Joint Commission (JCAHO) just like any private healthcare consortium...

And... given how many VA Medical Centers are now associated with world-class medical colleges and universities as Teaching Hospitals...

And... given the veteran -centric and collegial environment in which that wide spectrum of care is provided... well...

It's not surprising that - when given a choice between the VA and private healthcare... large numbers of veterans choose the VA almost instinctively.

The same weakness that they've had for four decades, a lack of any successful policy implementations. Compounded by the slow descent into the madness of the alt-right alternative universe of conspiracy theories, division pimping, and now, hero worship...of the one true savior. Makes the bible thumping crowd look quaint by comparison. :) But that batshit crazy message is strong medicine for the base, who are fed a steady diet of outrage and fear by their media outlets on a daily basis. The political outcome is reflected as such.

Watch out. Jack is trying to foist another one of his batshit gaslight theories on us again.

I would argue the conflict is less about left vs. right as much as it is about authoritarianism vs. libertarianism.

Some level of authoritarianism is necessary for order and stability, but the desired level is open for debate.

The problem is that the left largely embraces authoritarianism while declaring the right as being the authoritarians.

The weakness of the right is that fighting the growth of government is much harder than enabling it. And plenty on the right still enable it as well.

Statism is often self-sustaining up until the collapse of the system overall. Limiting government requires eternal vigilance and a willingness to accept uncertainty and danger.

This refers to the political struggle.

The weakness of the right is in their strength. The strong is aimed at individual independent actions. As a rule, if a person does not need help, he does not ask for it.

Leftists act in reverse. The weak can win if they unite. The weak person is aware that in the right society he will not occupy a leading position, therefore his goal is not to be better, but to equalize everything, and the right enemy for him is in this.

Therefore, the left is always focused on unification, the left gathers everyone who can be potentially dissatisfied and has ambitions: marginalized strata, feminists, minorities, and so on. Even those who are satisfied with the right-wing regime can be seduced and drawn into the left-wing movement. Leftish is the greatest master at this. And this is exactly what the right is lacking, the right acts in a straightforward manner, it operates with ideas and is not adapted to the maximum integration and inclination of people to its side.

PS
And we, in principle, can deduce from here some of the weaknesses of the left.
For example, speed is not the strongest point. It takes time for the organization to react to the action. It is like deploynment and rebuilding large fronts on the battlefield in a Prussian-style army. This is the weak point of their strategy, they are inert.
how does insane inflation help the weak...please explain
