Uninformed? Sexually irresponsible? Those don't sound very compelling. Rape, or defect I can understand. Anyway, persons left of center do not consider it a person, and therefore, in essence, they deny that it has any sort of legal protections at all.

No I personally believe no abortions except in health of the mother or rape, i.e. under force of the woman.
BUT I'm suggesting that 43% of abortions are totally irresponsible on part of men and women who are irresponsibly having unprotected sex that results in a pregnancy and now a death!
To me that is the realistic aspect that EVERYONE should understand. So in a perfect world a person who by abortion murders another human... yes there should be a penalty. But at least there is some understanding of reality of 1st time abortions and should also be taught the irresponsibility of unprotected sex.
