What In The HELL Are We Doing?

Republicans do need to occasionally kiss the mexican voter ass. Can you blame Republicans when VOTES are more important to them than their own principles??

I could even blame Democrats for placing votes above their own principles, IF they had any.

When the ass-kissing illegal alien ass is over, it will be the Dems with chapped lips and bunch of promises they'll never keep.

We have a choice: either we can have unlimited immigration from a 3rd world nation, or we can have socialism: welfare, taxpayer-funded schools, free health care, government-provided roads, and the like. Not both.

Government officials refuse to make the choice, and I'm afraid it's going to be made for them pretty soon. As the cost of government soars, we do the old print-and-borrow to stay afloat. Pretty soon, the dollar is going to take a big nosedive (it's already begun really), and interest rates are going to spike upwards as other nations begin viewing US governments as an unworthy credit risk (this is about to begin too). Once the local/state/federal governments are bankrupt with no way to borrow, then the programs will end and the choice will be made for us.

What we need in this damn country is a revolution.... another civil war.

True, but do you see how aggressively going after illegals might also turn of legal Mexican voters. That is what I think they (politicians) fear.

I think most legal mexican voters votes would split down the middle on illegal immigration and the border. They came here the hard way. They paid their dues. They don't like seeing a wetback given a free pass any more than anybody else does.

California was a steaming shithole of a state when I grew up there, now its a lost cause. Sometimes I think the best thing that can happen for it is the Big One hits and half of it slides into the Pacific.

I wouldn't like that. I don't enjoy drowning. :/

That too. But I deal with women and teenaged girls for 3 hours and then go home. If I don't have a ton of energy, I get sent home and someone else comes in, though I haven't worked in a month -.-

Well I don't envy you in that aspect. Women seem that they could be difficult at times. I guess it would depend on what the job was?

Sales Associate. I deal with the pretty nice ladies for the most part, but some real schlampes do come in and just have to be jackasses about things (I had one lady just yell "STOP FOLLOWING ME AROUND, IT MAKES ME NERVOUS!" to me once when I wasn't following her).

Sorry, I don't like guys younger than myself.

Yeah, well, at least we'll get to play with foam swords and shields when we're not busy. And we could play with Wii/PS3 displays too!

Very true. The republicans inaction on the border, and the war, were the two reasons why they got their asses kicked at the ballot box. But you watch, if the dems do worse, they'll suffer a worse ass kicking than the repubs did.

People are frustrated. Why don't the people they elected do what the people want?

Because they aren't there to represent the people. They are there to represent Wall Street, the central bankers and multinational corporations. The borders are left unsecure for one reason...to balkanize the U.S. population and keep us feuding with each other instead of them.

When the "rich" make money - everybody makes money

The current US economy is booming. Now that Dems will be in power, you will finally see postive stories on the economy - and the liberal media will try to give the Dems full crdit

Doesn't look as though "everybody" is making money at all now does it?

You really need to get off your addiction to wealth envy. Libs have this thing about wealthy Americans - even though they love Kennedy, Kerry, Clinton, Edwards, and the rest of the rich Dems club
