Democrat Ritchie Torres (D-NY) pushed new legislation to encircle the US Capitol with a fence and secure barricade to protect lawmakers from the people.
Torres told reporters, “We have to ensure the Capitol is secure during a time of sedition.”

For years Democrats in Congress insisted walls don’t work. But they sure are quick to change their mind when they fear for their own protection.
In 2019 Democrats sued President Trump in order to block his border wall project. They fought it every step of the way.
Obviously, their security is more important than the security of the American people.

If Progressive Marxist/DSA Democrat Congressmen were truly servants of the people, they wouldn't be worried about the people having access to the Capitol.

Their actions of erecting a wall around the Capital building prove that those elected to govern us on the Left truly fear the PEOPLE. It's simply proven by their tacit agreement with Big Tech to censor our Free Speech and curb our access to our religions in the name of Covid.

Yet they are very eager to construct a wall laced with barbed wire and barricades surrounding THEIR workplace, in order to feel safe and secure there. Hey Dems: do walls work, or they don't------- which is it?
PM/DSA Democrat Leftists despise voter-ID requirements. They want no pre-confirmations about the people who are voting in our elections! They demand that no citizenship verifications be done, as they expedite an easy loop-path in the system, whereby ANYONE who has had dealings with the State motor vehicles bureau can get AUTOMATICALLY registered to vote, simultaneously, without regard to the question of the person's citizenship or non-citizen status. Yet these same Liberals insist upon ID-checks to enter and leave DC, their new militarily guarded 'Green Zone'.
To add insult to injury now they question the loyalty of our Nat'l Guard and our military to America.
I agree with the Leftist Congress erecting barbed wire and other fortifications around the Capitol. This is the kind of protections we give to paedophiles in the penitentiary, we should give the same to our Liberal Rulers.
