What Happened in Charlottesville?
Did President Trump call neo-Nazis “very fine people” during a famous press conference following the Charlottesville riots of August 2017? The major media reported that he did. But what if their reporting is wrong? Worse, what if their reporting is wrong and they know it’s wrong? A straight exploration of the facts should reveal the truth. That’s what CNN political analyst Steve Cortes does in this critically important video.

My comment: It is hard to believe, with all the information out there now, that there are still people that perpetuate the Big Charlottesville Lie. But, apparently there are. Here we shall debunk:

A bunch of cowards showed up, and got their asses handed to them. One managed to kill a young girl, before running away ( running away is what these cowards do ), but was caught, and he is now enjoying the company of young thugs in prison. Along with others that were convicted. And many others will now spend the rest of their lives dodging a judgement against them.

And heres the bad news. It isn't over for them yet.

No

The major media reported that he did.

No, they just neglect to quote his entire statement.

and the weak minded prefer the omission, to the reality.

and, no matter what you do, the weak minded will never believe they only have half the quote.

Which, of course, is why they are weak minded.

They would have been there and gone away with hardly any notice, had not the violent commie goon squads that fuckwits like you support shown up to start a fight.

The left, more and more NEED the lie that the GOP is wacist, as they themselves start becoming more and more blatant in their ACTUAL REAL RACISM.

He said there were "very fine people on both sides". It's right there in black and white. He tried backpeddaling and explaining in the next sentence but the damage was done.
Bottom line is, he equated the white nationalist with the protesters that were there to protest the statues and the Unite the Right rally. Boo-boo of the highest order.
We expect moderation, introspection, and articulation from our Presidents. Not rambling, gastlighting blather.

"... -- and I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists -- because they should be condemned totally. But you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists."

YOu Jack, are a lying whore.

That is because racism is their cover for introducing Marxism. In American Marxism, the old boogyman "the bourgeois" is replace by the new boogyman the white man. But that is for another thread.

The corporate media got something wrong. Who woulda thunk it?

Actually sir you are the liar. What ha said is all in the video and you manipulated his words. And your insult is un-called for. Please take lies and insults elsewhere.

Again, you missed the point. He..said..it. Then tried to take it back and explain himself..awkwardly and clumsily.
Because he isn't a politician. The moment called for introspection. Also gave him a perfect opportunity to send a message
and win some friends. But it was beyond his capability. Sorry you don't like the analysis.

I think it is a little bigger than that. What they got wrong was turned into a national narrative that was a total lie. Very similar to "Hands up don't shoot", words that in reality were never actually spoken.

You are a stone cold liar and a gutless one at that. Trump had no use for skin head types and said so in plain site and the asshole media cut that part of his statement from their so called coverage.

Charlottesville in August 2017 would have been empty if the folks at CNN and MSNBC didn't send legions of reporters and cameramen and spend weeks shilling on the air on how big of an event it was going to be.

If it wasn't for CNN et al, James Fields wouldn't have known about it, and would still be in mom's basement to this day instead of out on a yard someplace.

Remember this, the Proud Boys and the Triple K didn't spend 5 cents to publicize the event.

There was a mostly peace protest by white supremacist, along with a liberal counterprotest, and there were a few small scales fights, started by people on both sides, then some far right extremist decided to run down a bunch of innocent people in his car. Everyone except other far right extremists called the guy a terrorist.

Also not widely reported Trump's DOJ tried to get a court order to have separate demonstrations but the judge hearing the case ruled against it.
