I am amazed at the following Trump has in the white power groups. His policies ARE more in line with their ideology than Bernie's were but I don't think they are enough so to gather this type of support.

As pointed out on here the words of his speeches allign in a similar way. Obviously Trump never says anything quite Klan worthy but he does talk about deportations and evil foreigners. Enough I would expect Klansmen to vote for him not Hillary but not enough to really excite the Klan.

Perhals as a pragmatist Donald is a little slow to denounce his strong hold there but obviously Trump does not support driving cars into counter protesters. To be fair, others are a little slow to denounce theid voting blocks also.

So what is it which excites the white power folks about Donald? Is it the WAY he talks? Donald seems like he would have trouble ordering a cheeseburger without sounding angry or snarky. Trump talks in extremes also. Using North Korea as an example I might have said, "Man, I don't want war, I just want to pay you North Koreans for making us cheap jeans or whatever but if you attack us I'm gonna have to level you all. Your choice." Donald is more aggressive though.

Any other ideas?

The Nanny State has gone totally bonkers. All opponents of the state aparatchniks wants on to this train.

What makes the racists of all skin colors flock to the democrat party? La raza...hispanic racists, democrats. Black lives matter, black racists, democrats,....group after group in the democrat party, all racist, all various skin colors...so what gives?

You are starting off on a false premise. These hate groups aren't republican and likely don't vote.

They weren't there is Charlottesville to support Trump or the GOP, they were there to try to save a statue.

There is nothing in the GOP for them. We have republicans of color, we have women, and we have gay republicans as well.

I disagree. Some of my work associates and neighbors are pretty borderline wanna be klansmen w/o the guts to put on a hood. They love their Trump disproportionally.

Biggest thing about Trump to the white lunatic fringe is that he ain't a democrat. The Dems love anybody who ain't white, straight, or Christian and makes them poison to those groups. I'm sure they love Trumps tough talk and many of his positions on immigration and so on, but those WLF groups definitely do not like the Dems.

Did Trump have these racist groups to the White House....does he accept their support....? No. Did obama have the racist group, black lives matter to the White House and embrace them? Yes. Did obama sit in a racist church for 20 years and call jeremiah wright his good friend...since he married obama and michelle and baptized their children? Yes. Did obama have racist al sharpton to the White House?

Yes.

Of the two men, only obama has embraced and shown love to openly violent and racist groups.....

The fake media is blaming Trump for something George Soros paid for. George funds the goons that help him in his effort to destroy America. They likely have closer ties to socialist/communist dogma than either Democrat or Republican ideals....and they will go to any venue that George deems deserving of their destructive capabilities.

you should probably go back and look at the tapes of his rallies. he dog-whistled white supremacists for his entire campaign and since he took office.

most people know that "make america great again" has zero to do with anything except white christian male supremacy.

All white hate groups love Trump unconditionally. They consider him a ally. When he said MAGA they correctly heard MAKE AMERICAWHITE AGAIN.

Excuse me? Perhaps David Duke's remarks at the "Unite the Right" rally escaped you?

We are determined to take our country back,” Duke said from the rally, calling it a “turning point.” “We are going to fulfill the promises of Donald Trump. That’s what we believed in. That’s why we voted for Donald Trump, because he said he’s going to take our country back." (Source)
Yes, the members of hate groups vote.

Hiding under a hood doesn't strike me as a courageous thing to do, and by the same token, neither does having the sorts of fears white supremacists do. See chapter 22 here.

the white lunatic fringe is that he ain't a democrat.

The white lunatic fringe don't care what party succors their ideology. At one time, they found comfort among the Democratic party; now they find it in the GOP's leader.

Just because David Duke says it doesn't make it true. You believe a member of the KKK because you want to believe him. That doesn't make it so.

You believe a member of the KKK because you want to believe him.
I believe David Duke regarding his assertions about the behavior of white supremacists because he was the leader of what is arguably the most widespread and well known white supremacist group in the U.S. Thus, to the extent he's speaking about what such people, in general think and do, he's credible. That doesn't make him credible on everything -- credibility in one area does not grant one credibility in all areas...an economist is not credible on quantum physics, for instance -- but it makes him credible on that particular topic. That is why I believe him.
