What does the Bible say about Transgenderism?

Don't you feel that the words this guy said to the drag queen was bigotry?

Also i think if you went up to any of these people and talked your anti gay ways you would be called a bigot or a old fogy

I see God's peacful children. God's imaginative heart, is in them. They are happy, making others to be happy. Street preacher does not know how to judge rightly. The adversary will talk one way. Jesus will talk in another way. Street preacher does not know how to edify anyone not knowing what Jesus is like, or what the devil is like in a person. Street preacher is not awaire that the body is in sin. It is not immortal. That is why a fallen human must not condemn others.: Jesus did not go around saying sinner, sinner. No one would want him to eat with them. He gave people hope regarding what is to come, for people who were good to people, even as Jesus was good to people. Street preacher is like the person who came to Lots door. I judge rightly. There is no fault in the people who that preacher is talking to. The preacher thinks that sex and nudity that is seen, are sins.
That would make God to be a sinner. God made both. Preacher is stumbling, not being like Jesus who edified a person who had no guile. Preacher is talking to people who have no guile. Preacher is blind and deaf even as the people Jesus talked to talking to them in parables Matthew 13:13, KJV. That preacher, not repenting will see God's light as a consuming fire, wishing he drowned or was covered by mountains that are being made low in Christs light. That light will melt elements, making mountains to melt like wax. Wicked guilt givers will want those mountains to cover them. Innocent perfect minds are there.

Flee gender confusion.

"Gender Confusion

The third building block follows naturally from the other two. If the binary of male and female is God’s idea, and if we are meant to embrace, by divine design, our biological and creational difference as men and women, then it stands to reason that the confusion of these realities would be displeasing to God. And so we see clearly in the Bible that men should not act sexually as women (Lev. 18:22; Rom. 1:18-32; 1 Cor. 6:9-10), that men should not dress like women (Deut. 22:5), and that when men and women embrace obviously other-gendered expressions of identity it is a disgrace (1 Cor. 11:14-15). We do not have an inalienable right to do whatever we want with our physical selves. We belong to God and should glorify him with our bodies (1 Cor. 6:19-20)."

What the Bible says About Being Male and Female
What the Bible says About Being Male and Female
The New York City Council recently passed a bill that allows New Yorkers to designate an “X” for their sex on their birth certificates if they don’t identify as either male or female. Additionally, a parent can do the same thing for their newborn children. The measure was passed by a vote of 41-6.
City Council Speaker Corey Johnson justified the action saying: “There are plenty of New Yorkers who don’t identify as either male or female. Gender is a spectrum for many folks, and it’s not a fixed thing. So for New Yorkers who are transgender, who are gender non-conforming, who are non-binary, to have an option to better self-identify on such an important document, their birth certificate, unlocks all sorts of things for them.”

Similar actions were taken by the States of Washington, Vermont, California, and Oregon, as well as the District of Columbia. The language of the Washington State directive is eye-popping, “a gender that is not exclusively male or female, including, but not limited to, intersex, agender, amalgagender, androgynous, bigender, demigender, female-to-male, genderfluid, genderqueer, male-to-female, neutrois, nonbinary, pangender, third sex, transgender, transsexual, Two Spirit, and unspecified.”1
The list is chilling, indicating just how far the revolutionaries are willing to go to remove any sense of limits. The enlightened will accept the changes. Only the dark reactionaries will reject them.
Although the temptation is real, these new classifications cannot be rejected as “just plain silly.” Nor can one take the libertarian attitude, claiming that government has no business telling people how they may define themselves. This thinking requires a response. The purpose of this article is to define five responses – legal, historical, scriptural, societal, and moral.
The legal response is the most complicated. Those who advocate these changes claim that it is a mere substitution of one word for another. This is a typical radical tactic; present a massive change as though it is trivial.
What Does Saint Thomas Say About Immigration?
Consider how one’s sex affects an individual’s dealing with the government or any other official entity. The radicals are now working hard to remove it from such actions as getting married and having children. One’s sex is still vital in determining all aspects of life. Any changes will radically affect getting into college, joining sports teams, deciding child custody, or enlisting in the military. The legal system has been bending over backward to attempt to accommodate those who call themselves homosexual. Chaos will erupt as each of these “genders” demands their own special set of legal “rights.”
Complicating the legal situation would be those who would wish to change their “gender.” Many of these terms have no legal definition – creating definitions is exclusionary. Would one “gender” entitle a person to a greater amount of legal protection? Would that person automatically lose the protections that attached themselves to their previous “gender?” The possibilities are endless.
The nature of such change is also important as part of the historical record. Today’s marriage licenses, drivers’ licenses, wills and other documents will become historical documents. Until now, they have accurately reflected the roles and numbers of men and women in our society. By taking away that factual information, and substituting a changeable opinion about the way that an individual wants to be known, that record will be permanently obscured.
Holy Scripture discusses the nature of humans as either male or female in at least four places:
  • Genesis 1:27 – And God created man to his own image: to the image of God he created him: male and female he created them.
  • Genesis 5:2 – He created them male and female; and blessed them: and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
  • Matthew 19:4-5 – Who answering, said to them: Have ye not read, that he who made man from the beginning, Made them male and female? And he said: For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife, and they two shall be in one flesh.
  • Mark 10:6 – But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female.
What does Saint Thomas Aquinas say about Marriage?
Note that the same words are used in all four places. Individuals are created as male or female. There is no room for any other reasonable interpretation.
Society is regulated by unwritten customs and by written codes of law. An individual who rejects a certain set of identifications will still need to interact with those who accept and embrace them. Customs and laws regulate how people treat those who are unlike themselves. By creating so many different conditions, most of which are not obvious, the already tenuous connections with each other grow more complicated. At best, there will be confusion; at worst, real violence could take place.

Finally, there is the moral dimension. Human beings have struggled with the morality of the relationships between male and female since Adam and Eve. Sexual morality and immorality are a constant source of contention in society. The moral rules, as outlined by Holy Mother Church, are relatively simple. The ways of breaking those rules make up a very long list, and each of them carries their own set of consequences.
Eventually, the plethora of “genders” will create so much confusion that society just breaks down. That will suit the revolutionaries because they will be standing at the ready to reassemble the pieces according to their own design.
Jesus was non-binary.

I hear in Hell queers burn hotter than hitler

I hear in Hell queers burn hotter than hitler

Well according to the bible anyone who has ever gotten divorced and remarried and anyone who has never helped the poor, anyone who is rich is going to the same hell.

Mark 10:11-12

But i wonder how many even follow those passages.

Also Jesus states in Matthew 6:1

“Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven"

Also i wonder if you ever worked on the sabbath, according to the bible in Exodus 35:2, that it is a sin in the eyes of God.

Also eating anything mixing meat and dairy is considered a sin.

Doubt you'll find anything about "genders" in the Bible. Wasn't until the character Radar on Mash the TV show that most Americans even THOUGHT about "gender".. Guess you'll have to look up Radar on Mash to get that humor... LOL...
I thought it was Klinger?

If Transgenders bother you then let them live in peace and you live your life as you wish…

Personally for me I never use my religious convictions to be bigoted against anyone and feel I am not a person who should judge anyone, well unless they are from Serbia…

Im as much Serbian as a Volksgerman or Hungarian who is born in Serbia. Im not even Serbian citizen. I doubt you hate Germans who are from Serbia. Dont be a fool. You made that somehow up that you hate everyone from Serbia. I dont believe you.

And supposedly adultery is one of the unforgivable sins worthy of death.

But adulterers are allowed back into the church and forgiven, yet LGBT are told they're hellbond.

Go figure on the hypocrisy of the church.

Really not seeing the same thing looking into Corinthians 11:14-16.

Judge for yourselves: is it proper for a wife to pray to God with her head uncovered? 14 Does not nature itself teach you that if a man wears long hair it is a disgrace for him, 15

I'm not a New Test. scholar for sure.. But this whole discussion is about EXPECTIONS for men and women. No where NEAR a discussion of "gender" but of biological foundations of the 2 sexes.

And the concept that men with long hair "is a disgrace" is NOT ANYTHING that EVER made an impression on Christians in ANYWHERE in history.. Certainly NOT in the roots of Hebrew history either. Not very influential verses it seems.

Like please explain THIS pic below.

Don't overlook the main message of the New Testament--Sins are forgiven. Also, remember the message given to adulterers...Go and from now on, avoid that sin. Is LGBT also told to avoid the sin?

Is there really a passage such as that?

I know many metal bands have members with long hair.

People in biblical times were too busy with the daily tasks necessary to stay alive to question their gender roles.
The definitive point, really. That's a big reason the Bible is so primitive and stunted in its ethics and morality. Compare it to the philosophical products of contemporaries in societies where they could spend their days on art and philosophy. They produced Socratic and Hellenistic thought. These lead to a more refined and modern morality, given time. But these frameworks were crushed by the Abrahamic religions for centuries. The Dark Ages. We had to claw them back to crawl out from under the primitive, unrefined attempts at morality and ethics found in the abrahamic texts. And we still are, to a degree.

One of the problems using the Bible as an ethical or moral guidebook is that it has so many inconsistencies and contradictions. It can be interpreted so many different ways. People have used it to justify many good and many terrible things throughout history.

Many of these contradictions can be attributed to mistranslations over the centuries, but the end result is the same.

And it's one of our first and worst attempts at morality, ethics, philosophy, and science. We have grow up a lot since this attempt. Similarly, we don't defer to alchemy tomes wen performing chemistry. We give antibiotics for infections, not exorcisms.

Plus i think many of the rules in the bible were for a tribe that existed many years ago.

Like the bible mentions stuff such as raping a virgin and getting away with it by paying the girl's father some coin.

Slavery(an evil that no one approves of today)

Stoning a son if they misbehave.

The bible also has unicorns which has actually been believed to be a mistranslation of rhino.

I think the bible has been mistranslated.

I was reading one time that it was mistakenly believed that the Chinese invented gunpowder due to a mistranslation which was actually fireworks.

One time i tried translating a neko catgirl kit instructions that were in Japanese to English and it translated a word as "be careful not to hit your bangs"

I remember reading one time of a language expert who said the word "armageddon" is actually a place and not a event and that the word "armageddon" is actually a corruption of a Hebrew word meaning har məgiddô

The Bible was written over thousands of years. Read the each portion looking for what the original author was saying to his original audience.
