What did Romney mean when he said "pick a number" ?

No he's actually going to work with congress and work on a plan....why do liberals always bitch about people needing to work together, but then want specifics from repbulicans (NEVER from democrats though)......he was explaining how it works....

Doesn't he need to have a proposal to start of the conversation?

Can you supply the quote? I recall him saying he was picking a number, IIRC it was 25,000 when he was speaking about taxes, is that what you are speaking of? I am trying to get some context for your question.

Unlike Obama he does have one.....so far OBama cant even get a democrat vote on his budget....not a single one from his own party....

Romney's economic plan has the edge - CNN.com

On the tax side, Romney's position is more convincing. Raising rates on high-income households will generate only modest revenue, and higher rates on dividends and capital gains are bad for growth. Likewise, lower corporate tax rates will boost growth. More broadly, Obama's focus on redistribution sends a chilling message to entrepreneurs and innovators, and any negative impact on growth makes the debt situation worse.

The bold is why when they say raise em on the rich....it's always the middle class that gets hit...EVERYTIME...just not enough rich people to make a difference

Romney and Obama disagree, however, on how to fix Medicare. Obama's approach consists of the Independent Payment Advisory Board, a creation of the Affordable Care Act. The IPAB will have the power to restrict Medicare expenditure, chiefly by controlling health care prices and limiting reimbursement for care deemed unnecessary or not cost-effective.

So the board will essentially say what care you want....and my favorite is they're upset over too many tests....why is that done? LAWYERS......and stupid suits....and who loves those.....LIBERALS
