What are some of your favorite Science Fiction books, all-time?

Robert Heinlein & Isaac Asimov are my favorite authors. Any Heinlein book with Lazarus Long especially. As a young girl, I loved Piers Anthony, too.
"Time Enough For Love" is an incredible journey with Lazarus Long, an amazing character. And he has a small part in the end of "Number of the Beast".

I haven't ready any Anthony since I was a kid. I loved the Xanth series.

A fun serial series from Germany.

The movie wasn't that great though.

More science fantasy than science fiction: "The Dragonriders of Pern" books by Anne McCaffrey, whose science fiction Brain & Brawn Ship series are excellent stories.

Lessee:

By Niven and Pournelle, "Oath of Fealty", "The Mote in God's Eye", and "Lucifer's Hammer". Niven's "Neutron Star".

Ben Bova's "Colony". The Gaea Trilogy by John Varley. "The Forever War" by Joe Haldeman. Doc Smith's Lensmen series. James Blish's Cities in Flight series.

I'll probably add more later.

If you include Stephen King stuff in the context of Sci-Fi, King is the winner hands down. Bradbury is for comic books.
