WASHINGTON — President Biden’s recent interactions with reporters in the spacious White House East Room have resembled press conferences, but with a twist: his staff selects which reporters attend, citing “spacing constraints” for why they exclude most White House correspondents.

I think there is a lot of truth in that reporter's observation...particularly since Trump did pull Karem's press pass (qualifying as a direct punch I'd say) and Biden and Co. use the ole "say one thing but reveal nothing that hurts our image....ever, even if it's the truth" smoke and mirrors shenanigans....as if nobody notices their deflection with specific press questions. Yes, voters don't like deception by politicians who would rather lie to save face than tell the truth. On the scales of justice, deception, half-truths, and secret meetings with drug company heads far outweigh a guy who punches in public directly.
