West Virginians are Mad at Manchin

No, it isn't.

In deep red West Virginia, Biden’s $3.5tn spending proposal is immensely popular

Working-class people – even Trump voters – understand the Build Back Better plan will benefit them

Voters in West Virginia Support the Build Back Better Agenda

You accept pablum propaganda. You share dishonest economic theories. You like the falsely named Build Back Better program because you tend toward the socialist side of the political spectrum. You remain incapable of factoring the honest costs of these spending programs because you choose to remain ignorant.

That aside, do you really believe that coal miners and their families and a state largely dependent on the economy of the coal industry is going to disapprove of Manchin’s defense of coal? I mean, really?

hoooookay.

Manchin is doing what his rich donors want.
Again, the voters will have the final say. Joe isn't the first President to have his programs thwarted by members of his own party.
On top of that, Manchins decision fucks up more than West Virginia.
This is true. Our international competitors and rivals have no hesitation in investing in their infrastructure, industries, spreading their influence around the world, etc... That is why I'm always tickled when folks--generally on the political right--lament that we should be sending just your average citizens to Washington to speak for us. The other nations are sending their best and brightest and about 1/2 the nation wants to send their dentists or plumber to negotiate. Its mind boggling.

West Virginians are Disappointed in Joe Manchin

In mid-October, Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia, a Democrat, announced he would forgo the prosperity of his constituents and their descendants by refusing to vote for a climate measure billed as the nation’s last-ditch effort to secure a livable future. Read the full article.

That measure is the Clean Electricity Payment Program, or CEPP, a $150 billion plan that would incentivize utilities to switch to clean energy sources like solar, wind, and nuclear and penalize those continuing to burn fossil fuels like coal, oil, and natural gas. Experts say it’s the nation’s best chance to meet the Biden administration’s climate goal of 80 percent clean electricity sources by 2030. The popular program is cited as the pillar for the Build Back Better Agenda—a $3.5 trillion plan to help working families and create green energy. Paid for by a fairer distribution of the tax burden onto corporations and wealthy Americans, the plan could be a historic investment in tackling the climate crisis, if Manchin would vote for it.

“I think the whole state is disappointed in Joe Manchin. Every Democrat I talk to is furious at Manchin, and I mean furious,” says Stewart Acuff, a retired labor organizer with the AFL-CIO who lives in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. “There is simply no rational explanation for what he’s doing on the Build Back Better plan than lining his own pockets.”

Joe Manchin is a coal money man and he wants to line his pockets. It's time W.Va. elected a new senator.

How fun would it be if Machin turned his head against Build Back Buster as part of the Democrack's plan all along, knowing the wreck wasn't worth a fuck anyway? Democrooks live in a fabricated world after-all, they only need a story long enough to fool their base.

That said, it's unusual for a Demonicrat to think like an individual. Generally leftists make something up and all of them climb on-board regardless what the story is.

I have indeed posted articles supporting my opinion. But for you if its not something that validates your right wing extremism, you claim its liberal bias or some other excuse.
Another opinion from yourself.
