Nobody dislikes a honest infrastructure Bill in theory, it's just that we all know it will be used as a money laundering scheme for the dems by the unions and wonder what strings to the money will be attached.

Broadband out in the hinterlands sounded great till we found out that down in SW Virginia a certain percentage of the population had to be "migrants" before they can get the money.

In other words social justice strings were attached.....Now I don't know if you know much about SW Virginia but I can tell you it's not exactly a "Mecca for Migrants".

That Bill at half the price and for real infrastructure would be great. This is the problem. We keep pouring a bottle of champagne into a 4 ounce glass with it overflowing and we laugh about it.
