So, the family tree ranch had a boatload of jack oak that needed to be harvested while they were still useful....Bunch of jack pine and aspen for pulp, too.

Too big a job to do by hand, so we call in the pros!

The really good news is that there's about a 6-8 acre area that was almost completely clear cut, suitable for my own private gliderport. :thup:
Or you could build an animal testing facility for testing cosmetics on animals.
 
Here I am out planting and babying trees and ur cuttin' then down.
 
They're a cash crop for us.....We'll be planting a ton of them in the months to come.

Only a relatively small section of the property was clear cut, BTW.
Very nice. I'm looking at our Black Walnut and Elderberries. Not to cut them but to capitalize on them. We have tons of herbal flowers that grow here too. I had no clue until this winter my berries are worth so much. I had been letting the birds eat them.
