You DO realize that no profits from the Keystone pipeline would ever come to America, right? It's all Canadian oil that they simply want to ship over our country to the Gulf so they can sell it world wide. Why? It's cheaper to build one over the plains of America than it is to go over the Rockies.

But, that pipeline also goes over the main aquifer that supplies the entire Midwest with drinking and irrigation water. Tar sands oil sinks in water, so if there's a leak, it will sink to the bottom of the aquifer, polluting it forever.
