Our entire system has become a form of cruel and unusual punishment - American Thinker

sure there were some issues and problems along the way. But not like what we are seeing today.

Unfortunately, this system makes it the government’s job to decide whether to prosecute a case. Often, the Department of Justice and attorneys-general across the country behave as though the law is irrelevant when deciding whether to pursue a case – to the point of being opaque, quixotic, and under the worst but common circumstance, political.

Honest people must admit there was sufficient evidence to bring to a grand jury to examine election fraud in the 2020 presidential election. But the Department of Justice, through AG Barr, protested that there was insufficient evidence to move forward. “Just stop talking about niggling details,” was their attitude! They seemed upset by the calls to investigate and the signed affidavits of election misconduct because the most important goal has been to stop Trump from exercising political power ever again.

Worse, we’re now stuck with an incoming administration that we know views everything in terms of political power. Inconsistencies in logical arguments don’t matter. That the law is applied differently to different people does not matter. The severity of damage to the victim can be ignored if it is inconvenient. Rigorous discovery of the facts of a case will not necessarily change the final decision to prosecute or not. In fact, the facts of a case can become irrelevant if the threat to powerful interests is great enough.

The most egregious example may be Hunter Biden escaping even being charged with financial crimes for which his two business partners are now serving hard time. No, wait! The worst would be Eric Swalwell remaining on the House intelligence committee after being compromised by a Chinese spy; that is beyond strange.

I think this just about covers the American Stinker:

  • Overall, we rate the American Thinker, Questionable based on extreme right-wing bias, promotion of conspiracy theories/pseudoscience, use of poor sources, and several failed fact checks.

Try posting facts for a change instead of your white grievance bullshit and lies.

You can't charge Democrats because there's no fucking evidence they committed any crimes.

If this were true, why haven't any Trump lawyers submitted evidence of this into court ... this is a clear cut violation of election law ...

I think you're confusing the PA policy of keeping observers back ten feet and SCOTUS ordering them to be allowed to within six feet, as per CDC recommendations ...

Maybe instead of getting your legal information fro alt-right hack sites, you should read the court cases ...

Blow it out your lying ass. Cases with evidence was never heard or nothing done with it period.

Philly stopped the count at 10pm election night because Trump was leading at that moment. GOP poll watchers were thrown out of Atlanta and there is tape of the dems pulling out boxes from underneath tables. There was plenty of evidence, it just was not heard or in some cases not followed up by legal authorities. They just looked the other way.

Every one of those claims have been proven wrong ... you must hate America to say the entire legal framework is corrupt ... if you believed this, why do you act the coward behind your keyboard and hope someone else starts the shooting ...

They just looked the other way

Bubba never finished Middle School ...

Next thing you know, they may even try to ban people coming from certain countries based on their religion or care so much about our borders they will only try to build a wall on one of them.

That's how the cookie crumbles.

That's why a lot of people (wisely?) don't waste their time voting.

They feel that it's just a big farce anyway.

You had to really stretch to get Biden's name in there. Hunter Biden cut off all ties with Devon Archer when he discovered Archer was using his past assocations and relationship with Biden to legitimize his con and sell his illegal scheme.

I've worked with people who turned out to be crooks, and dishonest. It doesn't mean that I'm dishonest or that I've done anything illegal. The Senate cleared Hunter Biden of any wrongdoing in the Ukraine. The Ukrainian Government has not only confirmed that they are NOT investigating Hunter Biden, but that their investigation of Burisma pre-dates his hiring, and that Hunter has never been under suspicion of criminal wrong-doing there.

So are the Bidens the new "Clinton Crime Family"? Are Republicans going to spend $150 million dollars of taxpayers' money launching political investigations of the Bidens based on Republican rumours of corruption, and find nothing? Just like the Clintons who have been investigated endlessly for the past 35 years later without a single indictment filed, are you planning on investigating the Bidens on the basis of Republican rumours and lies, and just issue report after report with no findings of crimes committed much less criminal wrong doing on the part of the Bidens?

That's going to be really fucking difficult with all of the Chairs of all of the Investigating Committees of both the House and Senate being held by Democrats, now isn't it?
