I have a simple and elegant solution to voting. Open the polls on the friday before the election at 8am-9pm , keep open every day until the Tuesday election. This allows the entire weekend and nights for anyone to get down to the polls. If you want to vote absentee- request a ballot and mail it in. No unsolicited ballots allowed. You must request a mail in ballot and if you do, you cannot vote in person.

Everyone voting on one day could make elections susceptible to violent attacks that prevent large blocks of voters from accessing the poles , so to help ensure that does not become an issue an extension of when voting is available is a good idea .

Unsolicited distribution of ballots is egregious and a corruption of the voting system .
