Publicity has no impact upon jury deliberations, and if biased jurors have been eliminated in screening, they will objectively assess the credibility and competence of witnesses for both sides, and decide accordingly.

Are some folks in the public prejudiced for as well as against the defendant, and does that result in their being prejudiced regarding the media that covers it? Of course.

Of course he deserves to walk. The cause of death was not strangulation or choking, end of story. There are no fractional homicide laws in MN, so walking is the only option.
