So we all know Buffet is running around saying he and other Billionaires should pay more taxes. Ok cool.

then explain why his company is involved in a years long dispute with the IRS in which he is fighting paying what the IRS claims he owes?

“The rough translation of the report is that Berkshire Hathaway did not pay all the federal taxes that it was required to for 2002 through 2004. The IRS examination team caught Berkshire Hathaway on at least some issues. Instead of paying up, Berkshire Hathaway is threatening the IRS with protracted litigation and is in the process of cutting a deal with the IRS Appeals office.”

“For 2005 and 2006, Berkshire Hathaway again did not pay all the federal taxes that it was required to. Again, the IRS examination team caught Berkshire Hathaway on at least some issues. Now, Berkshire Hathaway is threatening the IRS with protracted litigation and is trying to cut a deal with the IRS Appeals office.”

“And, finally, the IRS has opened another examination of Berkshire Hathaway’s tax returns for 2007 through 2009, but has not officially sent Berkshire Hathaway the bill yet for taxes that Berkshire Hathaway failed to pay for those years. One would expect they will find yet more issues.”

Warren Buffett: Tax Hypocrite
So can we maybe stop holding MR buffet up as hero now. He is a fucking Hypocrite. If you think the Government needs your money so badly, why in the hell would you fight your tax bill?

It's really quite simple: Buffett must defend and protect his investors. His personal finances are an entirely different matter.

Simply put, as an American he's speaking out against the tax policies that are tearing this nation apart. Good for him.

Whether or not he has a legal dispute over legitimate taxes owed is a whole different matter.

WHat tax policy that is destroying America?
Not enough taxes on the rich?:lol::lol:
You bought that? Wow...as has been said over and over and over...if the IRS took...wait for it...100%...of every dime millionaires and above earned - it would barely make a blip on deficit spending. In fact if they not only took all of their earnings - but everything they had...it would still make an insignificant improvement in our deficit.
Get off the Kool-Aid.
The problem is that over half of all wage earners pay no taxes...and government spending has increased every freakin year for the past 31 years but one.

The fucker reminds me of

Alfried Krupp
, .

Krupp and his father were initially hostile to the Nazi Party. However, in 1930 they were persuaded by Hjalmar Schacht that Adolf Hitler would destroy the trade unions and the political left in Germany. Schacht also pointed out that a Hitler government would considerably increase expenditure on armaments. In 1933 Krupp joined the Schutzstaffel (SS).

During the Second World War Krupp ensured that a continuous supply of his firm's tanks, munitions and armaments reached the German Army. He was also responsible for moving factories from occupied countries back to Germany where they were rebuilt by the Krupp company.

Krupp also built factories in German occupied countries and used the labour of over 100,000 inmates of concentration camps. This included a fuse factory inside Auschwitz. Inmates were also moved to Silesia to build a howitzer factory. It is estimated that around 70,000 of those working for Krupp died as a result of the methods employed by the guards of the camps.

In 1943 Adolf Hitler appointed Krupp as Minister of the War Economy. Later that year the SS gave him permission to employ 45,000 Russian civilians as forced labour in his steel factories as well as 120,000 prisoners of war in his coalmines.

You're such a sheep.

For instance, when Republicans frequently cite that 51% of Americans do not pay any income taxes, not only is that statistic a lie, but they fail to include the fact that all employees pay the highly regressive social security and Medicare taxes (FICA or payroll taxes), which, in effect, total to around 15.3% of the employee's gross income (including the employer's 50% contribution which the employee would obviously get in wages if the employer were not forced to contribute it to the employee's FICA).

OpEdNews - Article: THE TRUTH ABOUT LIES ABOUT THE TRUTH ABOUT TAXES

Millions of Americans are not being told the truth that almost 90% of us pay taxes, and that much of the reason why there were fewer people paying federal income taxes in 2009 was that Barack Obama signed the largest tax cut in US history.

Since the truth undercuts the conservative's reverse Robin Hood steal from the poor to give to the rich policy, they are going to do their best to keep the facts buried under a mountain of misinformation.

Anytime anyone tells you that half of Americans paid no taxes, do your country a favor and straighten them out. We have the facts. It's time to tear down this talking point.

He's playing by the rules as they exist now.

That's his job as a CEO

He is calling for a change in the rules.

That's his choice as a CITIZEN.

Wow...you really do fall for the KoolAid.
When I said that 51% of American wage earners pay no income tax you provide a link to show employers paying taxes.
Businesses should pay ZERO income tax...that will really get you going.

No matter how many links you provide - you will never get past the fact that 51% of wage earners pay no income tax...in fact over 80% of them get more back then they pay in.

The problem is that over half of all wage earners pay no taxes...

BIG difference, my friend.

And if, as you say, businesses should pay ZERO income tax then damn near every household would become a "business" of some type. Even if they didn't you just added TRILLIONS more to the deficit. WAY YO GO!!!! :clap2:

I'll bet you flunked economics in school, didn't you?

some selective outrage from those who wish to hoist the rich up on petards and set them on fire for the sleightest deduction they take on their tax returns.
