Just for the record.

:) Do you have something to say about the map? I was stationed with a Charlie Manchu infantry airborne company at Ft Wainwright, just outside of Fairbanks. The winters were amazing.

If you knew anything about glacial cycles and how the flows change you would understand that this post means we may simply be entering the next glacial cycle,

The formation of the Laurent Ice Sheet left the regions of Alaska warm and thus the reason they were not buried under miles of ice.

If you knew what you ought to know (given your educational claims) you'd realize that Alaska and western Canada are warm for the same reason the northeastern US is cold: a polar vortex distorted by unusually warm temperatures in the Arctic.

Or, perhaps you know this as well as anyone here... but simply choose to lie.

Denial about massive climate change globally will not stop it.

Well now, a claim that we're actually moving in to a new ice age certainly involves massive global climate change. He just seems to have made a sign error somewhere in his calculations.

There have been studies suggesting that the spread of the polar ice caps was enabled - or at least hastened - by meltwater lubrication. The problem with such theories is that it still requires massive temperature drops in sub-tropical regions, something we have not seen in quite some time.
