Of course there are 50 governors :

33 are Republican, 16 are Democratic, and 1 is Independent.

6 are women

47 are white
2 are Hispanic
1 is Asian
(Is Japanese Pacific Islander or Asian?
A definition from Henry Ford Health System states that an Asian-Pacific American is "A U.S. citizen whose origins are from Japan, China, Taiwan, Korea, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, the Philippines, Samoa, Fiji, Guam, the U.S. Trust Territories of the Pacific or the Northern Marianas.)

O is black even though 13 % of the pop is black. Hispanics are about 17%,

In 2018 :
Thirty-six states will hold gubernatorial elections in 2018: Alabama; Alaska; Arizona; Arkansas; California; Colorado; Connecticut; Florida; Georgia; Hawaii; Idaho; Illinois; Iowa; Kansas; Maine; Maryland; Massachusetts; Michigan; Minnesota; Nebraska; Nevada; New Hampshire; New Mexico; New York; Ohio; Oklahoma; Oregon; Pennsylvania; Rhode Island; South Carolina; South Dakota; Tennessee; Texas; Vermont; Wisconsin; and Wyoming. Republicans currently hold 26 of these states, while Democrats hold nine (one, Alaska, is held by an Independent.

I mean...

This one is just absolutely precious.

.

Went to a lot of trouble to point out that.
1. Blacks are a minority.
2. There is more people voting for other races then just whites.
3. There may not be that many blacks either running for governor or voting for governor.
4. That the best candidate (as far as those in the state are concerned) may not have been a black.

Thanks for pointing out that you are racist enough to think that people should vote for blacks just because of skin color and not the ideas that they stand for.

Did you know that although Louisiana is a red state (in national elections), their governor is a Democrat, and the three largest shithole cities in the state are all run by African American female Democrats?

Not to mention midgets are under represented....... Well except in Munchkin County, Oz.

Don't worry, Fl has rigged the elections for a long time, esp with the 2000 election for Potus.

I agree that was rigged, and I didn't like that. Perhaps GA is a better place. I have cousins there.

There doesn't have to be any rigging with a Socialist vs. normal candidate in America, sorry. The Socialist will lose, if he doesn't, I'm outta here. Probably should be a foreign country, because the US is lost if that happens.

Oh just admit they are underrepresented. You go to a lot of trouble with your racist rants.

They can't the GOP suppresses them, that and extreme gerrymandering.

We MIGHT just get a democrat in as governor here, and a woman to boot. After the fiasco of Paul LePage, I think a lot of people are ready for anything but a tea party Republican.

Just to show you how lopsided it is. Also how the Gop and Trump whine.
