Simple solution...
A) Total known oil in the USA as of 2016
top11countriesoireserves.png

B) Total daily consumption of gas in USA...
In 2021, about 134.83 billion gallons (or about 3.21 billion barrels)1 of finished motor gasoline were consumed in the United States, an average of about 369 million gallons per day (or about 8.80 million barrels per day). This was about 6% less than the record high level of consumption of nearly 392 million gallons per day in 2018.
So total consumption of gas per day by US drivers... 8.80 million barrels...
Using the 35,230,000,000 barrels of oil means 10 years of oil used that is produced by USA and consumed by USA.
Now with the USA importing Imports of crude oil to the United States from OPEC countries fell to 298.2 million barrels in 2020.
So that works out to 816,000 barrels per day from OPEC.
All that Biden needs to do is clearly state a retraction of this statement by Biden!

No...they can't. We have been INFLATED---prices soaring for everything--nothing will ever go back fully down. And worse with gas, when the price does go down a bit--politicians are going to see it as an opportunity to raise taxes on gas to soak more tax revenue off the gas price increase.

At this point it is about mediating how bad things are. The longer the price stays up, the higher it will stay even after things cool off a bit.

We can not escape the long term damage done at this point and there is still more to come.

The US is thought to have the highest reserves of recoverable oil on the planet if you include our shale reserves.
We could have cheap supplies for many decades but for govt interference & environmentalist obstruction.

Ranking nations by the most likely estimate for existing fields, discoveries and as-of-yet undiscovered fields (proved, probable. possible and undiscovered), the United States is at the top of the list with 264 billion barrels of recoverable oil reserves, followed by Russia with 256 billion, Saudi Arabia with 212 billion, Canada with 167 billion, Iran with 143 billion, and Brazil with 120 billion (Table 1).

Hey Thanks for that info! I was assuming wrongly amount of oil in reserves.
Consequently revising my table:
Using 264 billion recoverable reserves that would be 82 years if consumption continues at 8.8 million per day in the USA.
2104!

That's what makes this so infuriating. If govt got out of the way & let us b!+ch slap the greenies back to Mom's basement, we could be booming with energy & goods. Inflation would reverse
Govt is always the problem

Oh for sure!

Federal Regulations Costly for Small Businesses

Because many costs are fixed, small businesses pay about a third more per employee than larger companies, finds the SBA

This is because a lot of costs are fixed -- the same whether you have two employees or 2,000. Total annual cost of following the rules for a small business: $10,585 per employee, or about $2,830 more than big business. Businesses with 20 to 499 employees paid about $7,454 per employee, or about $300 less than the largest companies.

They rig the game in favor of big business because it is much easier to control 1 big company than 1,000 little ones.
That's why the rona lockdowns were designed to crash small businesses but allow the larger ones to gain more market share

What good is drilling if alot of the oil is allowed to leave our shores.
I guess you don't know about this that occurred for the first time in over 62 years.
In 2019, the U.S. did achieve energy independence, something that had not happened since 1957.
