Unsealed Trump Search Warrant - Trump had classified Documents

They are still secret. He tried to keep them from the government. He's fucked.

No moron, they are not.

{
In fact, Robert F. Turner, associate director of the University of Virginia's Center for National Security Law, said that "if Congress were to enact a statute seeking to limit the president's authority to classify or declassify national security information, or to prohibit him from sharing certain kinds of information with Russia, it would raise serious separation of powers constitutional issues."

The official documents governing classification and declassification stem from executive orders. But even these executive orders aren't necessarily binding on the president. The president is not "obliged to follow any procedures other than those that he himself has prescribed," Aftergood said. "And he can change those."

Indeed, the controlling executive order has been rewritten by multiple presidents. The current version of the order was issued by President Barack Obama in 2009.

The national-security experts at the blog Lawfare wrote in the wake of the Post's revelation that the "infamous comment" by President Richard Nixon -- that "when the president does it, that means that it is not illegal" -- "is actually true about some things. Classified information is one of them. The nature of the system is that the president gets to disclose what he wants."}

Nobody said he could not declassify documents. He just can't wave at a pile of boxes of documents containing g top secret information and declassify their contents by royal, verbal decree. Get it through your skull, dumbass.
The guy is totally retarded.

So are we going to play the language alteration game again where Trump can declassify things but in lib land they are still”secret” which overrides the declassification?

Yes, you're an idiot - I get it.

The Commander in Chief may declassify anything he damned well pleases, as upheld by the Supreme Court in Department of Navy vs. Egan - 1988

Yes he can

But he has to declassify the information not the document.
If you read a Top Secret Document it is not just stamped TOP SECRET on the top of the page
On the right margin of every paragraph is a classification
The overview paragraph may be marked with a U for Unclassified.
Detailed paragraphs may have markings of C for Confidential or S for Secret. If ONE PARAGRAPH is marked TS the whole Document gets stamped TOP SECRET

So if Trump were arrogant enough to declassify that document, the TOP SECRET information in that document and every other document containing that information would be declassified. The same would happen for all other classifications

That did not happen

They were marked TOP SECRET. If they had been declassified, they would not be labeled TOP SECRET. If the DOJ has evidence that trump has plans to share the top secret information, then trump is totally screwed. It could be sealed in the affidavit.

"IF congress were to enact?" Dude, no one can be this stupid.

Trump himself increased the penalties for mishandling classified info. You are not right in the head.

Can't do it dumbass when you are private. Maybe we can trade him to Russia for the marine being held.

What the fuck are you babbling about?

Look Moron, Trump was president - I know how much that distresses you. But reality exists - even for you vile Nazi filth.

The president is the Commander in Chief - per the United States Constitution, which admittedly you democrats are at war against. Still the Constitution remains is place at this moment.

As such, the commander in Chief may declassify any damn thing he pleases.

You hate Trump? Too fucking bad. You vermin stepped on a rake with this.

Even if he had, who gave him permission to take them to Florida? That's a crime all by itself.

Oh get real. Trump isn’t in cahoots with America’s enemies. That would be Biden et al.
